2023 Pinewood Derby

This is Pinewood Derby Week!!!

Both check-in and race day will be in Fellowship Hall at the back of the Whitehouse United Methodist Church. Please enter church through the back door only.

 

Pinewood Derby Check-in and Inspection – Friday, February 10^th from 6pm-8pm.

Weigh your car in and leave it there for races the next day. Must have your car registered on Friday night to race on Saturday. Register your cars prior to February 10^th  online at https://etacpack359.org/pinewood-derby/ before weigh-in. Your cars can be dropped off by another family as long as the cars are registered! Your scout does NOT have to be present at check-in.

 

Pinewood Derby Race Day – Saturday, February 11^th from 8am until it ends.

Races will take place according to Dens. We use the Lane Rotation Method – Each participant will race 4 times. The best total time determines winners. Cars are racing the clock not each other. 1st and 2nd Places from each den will advance to district races on March 4^th. Please wear Class A uniforms. You are welcome to attend every race with your family!

8:00 am – AOLs

8:30 am – Bears

9:15 am – Tigers

10:00 am – Lions

10:45 am – Wolves

11:30 am – Webelos

Open and Business Class immediately after Webelos

Pinewood Derby Awards

All awards will be presented Monday, February 13^th at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Please wear Class A uniform.
