That’s a wrap……but, WAIT!!!
Hello, Pack 359 Family!!
Well, Spring Family camp was HOT and FUN!! What a way to end our awesome year of Scouting. There will be no further Den meetings until school resumes in the fall.
That being said, we still have activities for you during the Summer.
1. Freedom in the Park – this Saturday, May 26, starting at 2 pm in the Whitehouse Park. We will have an archery and information booth set up. Please be on the lookout for a sign up email to help man the booth. We will also be performing a Flag retirement ceremony. Uniform, as always, is Field (Class A).
2. Flag Service – we are starting our flag service this weekend. We will need assistance with setting out the flags. More details to come!!!

3. Day Camp – June 18-22 at UT-Tyler Innovation Academy. Please go to etacpack359.org/daycamp to register and pay securely online. You need to register and pay by May 30 to get the discounted price of $50 instead of $75. After this date, you will need to register your Scout through the Scout Office.
4. July Event – Saturday, July 14 at the Whitehouse Park.
5. Zoo Overnighters – this invitation is extended to Families that have NOT yet done this experience. There are 2 dates, Friday August 3 and Friday, August 10. Space is limited to 25 participants for session. Cost is $25 per person. They ask that children be no less than 6 years of age. You will sleep in an air-conditioned facility (bring a sleeping bag and pad…no cots or air mattresses). You get to feed the giraffes, go on a night hike of the zoo to see the nocturnal animals, and explore the zoo early before it opens to the public. Plus, more!!!! Please go to etacpack359.org/zoo to register for either Friday. If all spots don't fill for the 1st timers, I will open it to others.
That is all for now.
Thanks for making this year great! Have a great summer!
Yours in Scouting,
D. Jason Phillips
