August Events!!

The summer is passing quickly, and I hope all are enjoying it.  We have 2 events for August.

1.   Zoo Overnighter at Caldwell Zoo – Friday, August 3 or Friday, August 10.  There are still available spots for both dates.  Cost is $25/person.  Register at etacpack359.org/zoo.  Feed the giraffes, go on a night hike of the zoo to see the nocturnal animals, explore the zoo on Saturday before it opens to the public. For those that sign up, I will send a detailed email regarding times, what to bring, etc.

2. 3rd Annual Lad & Dad Cake-Bake – Monday, August 13 at the church.  This is our "sweet" event that encourages the Scout and his Dad (or uncle, or grandfather, or male role model) to design and make a cake from scratch!!!  From buying the ingredients to the cleanup of the kitchen.  Awards for the best cakes!  More details to follow regarding rules and awards.
