Pack Meeting Tonight at Veteran’s Memorial

Hello Wolves!       Tonight in place of our traditional pack meeting our Scouts are invited to the Veterans Ceremony at the Whitehouse Veterans Memorial (corner of 346 and HWY 110) at 6:30 PM.  Landon Beaton from Troop 359 will be hosting this ceremony as his Eagle Scout project. He has invited our Cub Scout Pack to come out and participate in passing out stars to our veterans and assisting with Flag Retirement.  If your scout will be attending and would like to get credit for their service project and participate, they MUST be in CLASS A UNIFORMS. PLEASE BRING CHAIRS FOR YOU AND YOUR SCOUT!   We hope to see you there!

Cub Scouts – Den Meetings Nov 4th

Hey Pack! Friday night was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed games, fajitas, and a movie at Blackhawk Creek Trail! The only Den meeting this week is the Webelos. They will be visiting City Hall! Next Monday night, we will be at the Veterans Day Ceremony and Flag Retirement at the Whitehouse Veterans Memorial. The Pack needs to be there by 6:15 in Class A Uniforms!

Meeting Cancelled for tonight

Due to the potential for heavy rains and thunderstorms this evening, we will cancel tonight’s meeting.  We will see you all at the 11/11 pack meeting!  Between now and the next den meeting on November 18th, please have your scout build a model of your home using recyclable materials.  On 11/18, we will use some of the same materials to create a building from our community and then put it and the homes your scouts create together to make a neighborhood.  Please save recyclable materials for the community building as well if you have them.  Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Nov. 4 Meeting

Hey Webelos parents! Just a reminder that because the room we typically meet in is occupied with voting equipment for one more week, we will be meeting at the city council chambers tonight, at 6:30, to hear from the Mayor of Whitehouse, James Wansley. This is in the building directly to the right of the city park, between the park and police department. We will continue our “Citizenship” requirement with this presentation. Please encourage your scouts to think of questions they may have for Mayor Wansley. Thanks!See you all this evening!

No meeting this week / Veterans Day Ceremony

Lions, We will not be meeting this week. Please finish Lion’s Roar if you have not already done so and begin on Lion’s Pride. Both of these adventures are designed to be done at home with family.  Next week we will be meeting at 6:10 at the Whitehouse Veterans Memorial at the corner of 110 and 346 for the Community Veterans Day Program. This event has been organized by Landon Beaton for his Eagle Scout Project. Our Lions have a very special job – we will be handing out stars to all the veterans in attendance. All scouts will need to be in Class A uniform: Lions shirt or blue button down, neckerchief and slide, and don’t forget your belt to show off those adventures…

No Meeting this week-Homework

AOLS we will not be meeting this week due to election day and the amount of traffic the church will have.  This doesn’t stop us from working towards our goal.  Please watch this video with your scout.  It’s over personal protection and is the first requirement for our Firt Aid pin.  Also, please submit your scout’s activity log before next week via group me (you can put it in a private message or the group).
