Awesome First Week!
Howdy, Pack 359 Family!
Wow! We had an AMAZING First Meeting night! Thank you for bearing with us through the first few weeks of excitement.
A couple of quick notes (New Parents might have already completed the forms) –
1. Registration Fees – Our annual registration with the BSA. The cost is $30 per Scout for new Scouts and $50 per Scout for returning Scouts. You must register and pay online at etacpack359.org/register. Your Scout's points will not be visible until you register. If you need to make other arrangements, please speak with your Den Leader
2. Health Forms – We need these completed and turned in for all Scouts and any family member planning to participate this year. Copy of your medical insurance needs to attached. If we can get them all turned in at the beginning of the year for EVERYONE, it will limit the number of times you have to print it out during the year. We will carry the health forms to all Pack related activities. I have attached the health forms. Save it to your computer.
3. Flag Pickup – You've probably seen the awesome American flags out and about this Labor Day. It's time to pick up our flags and store them for the next holiday. It only takes about 1 hour of your time. Today we will be meeting at the Whitehouse UMC at 6:00 pm to go collect those flags. Uniform is Field (Class A). Sign up for a route at etacpack359.org/flagpickup (LIONS and TIGERS – You are excluded from this). You will receive 10 Blue Points for helping!
4. Popcorn Slots – We are moving back to 1 Hour slots with 1 Scout per slot (sibling scouts can still sell together). This weekend we will be at Lowes and Brookshire's on 155 in Flint. Our average sales per hour is $125 per scout per hour. In two hours, you could earn 2.5 Gold Points! If you haven't yet, please register your scout at www.trails-end.com and download the app. Be sure to select East Texas Area Council, Wo-Ha-Li District, and PACK 359 (not Crew 359). [New Scouts – Do not worry about signing up this weekend unless you want to go ahead and Jump in with both feet 🙂 ]
