Hello, Pack 359 Family!!   Spring Family Camp is upon us!!!   LET YOUR DEN LEADER KNOW HOW MANY OF YOUR FAMILY PLANS TO ATTEND! * Campout date is Friday, May 18th through Sunday, May 20th at Pirkey Environmental Park near Hallsville, TX (directions attached). If you can't make it Friday, come Saturday!!!  If you can't camp at all, come out Saturday for the day and campfire.  * The Pack will provide meals for Saturday morning and evening.  Parents/Dens will be responsible for Friday night, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast. For Friday, most families will stop and eat on the way to camp. For Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast, it can be as simple as a sandwich or a meal prepared and shared with your Den (please check with your Den Leader).  Most Dens plan to eat breakfast and lunch as a den.        …

Hello, Pack 359 Family!! You will be receiving a flyer in the mail from the council office regarding Day Camp, June 18-22.  Please do NOT pay the council. If your Scout is going to attend Day Camp, we are going to send out a separate email with payment information.  The Pack is going to cover $25 of the $75 cost.  So, you will only have the $50 to cover.   So, please don't pay the council, or you won't get the discount. I will register the entire pack at one time through the council office. Please be on the lookout for the email regarding registering and paying online. Thanks. Yours in Scouting, D. Hello, Pack 359 Family!!! Monday, 5/7/18, we will ALL be meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. From there, we will split off from the church to assigned neighborhoods to place door hangers. Door hangers, you ask??? Well, we are starting a new fundraising effort to supplement our Popcorn sales.  We are still going to sell Popcorn but are trying an alternate plan for revenue. We will be providing a flag service for the Whitehouse area.  We will initially install and then place flags for 7 patriotic holidays.  We are trying to get this project off the ground for Memorial Day. So, tomorrow is the 1st step in this new endeavor.  We need your help to place door hangers to advertise for our flag…

Hello, Pack 359 Family!! There will be NO Den meetings for Monday!!! However, for those Webelos Scouts that are going to Webelos Camp in June, Bob Prince will be at the church tomorrow at 6:30 pm to collect money for those that have not paid. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: 1.  Spring Family Camp – Friday, May 18 – Sunday, May 20 at Pirkey Environmental Park near Hallsville, TX (same place as Fall Family Camp).  Your Den Leaders will be getting a headcount for this campout.  It is important that we have an accurate headcount for Pack meal purposes.  The Pack will provide Saturday breakfast and dinner.  Also, we will be doing our Neckerchief Changing Ceremony.  If you are coming, you will need to go to the Scout Shop…

Good Morning, Pack 359 Family! The Tyler Mini Maker Faire is this Saturday, April 28, at Discovery Science Place in downtown Tyler from 9am- 5pm. You can go to tyler.makerfaire.com to purchase tickets. If  you wear your Scout uniform, you will get a special patch. Go out and have fun while supporting the community in your Scout uniform.
