Hey Den5, Reminder for Den5 meeting this Monday Oct 2, 2017. We will be meeting at the ROC (18700 US-69, Tyler Tx 75703). If families want to show up at 6:00 to start it would be great. The boys will be playing group teams of four scouts. Nine holes maximum to finish within the hour time frame. Please bring frisbees and late starters may need headlamps to finish. Park will close at sunset so be prepared to play at a fast pace. Parking is available on the gravel near the outfieled of the baseball diamonds. We will start working on a new adventure on Monday. Please look at the requirements for Grin & Bear It. This is the adventure that requires us to lead a Pack level carnival which will be held at the Pack Meeting, October 30. Also, new Scouts, I need you to be working on Bobcat requirements so we can get those signed off. I’d like everyone to have their Bobcat rank by the next Pack meeting. Go to Scoutbook.com or the handbook to find the requirements for all ranks and adventures.
Please remember we are meeting at the Whitehouse City Park on Monday night at 6:30. Wear old pack shirt if you have one and tennis shoes. We will be earning our Running with the Pack Advancement so lots of activity. Please bring completed health forms on Monday if you have not already. These need to be turned in for parents and scouts. Howdy Pack 359 Family!! This weekend we will be at Lowe’s and Super 1 (S. Broadway, next to Academy Sports) for our Show N Sell from 9a-5p both Saturday and Sunday. For all of our new Scouts, Here’s the rundown: We operate in 2-hour shifts and an adult must be present with the scout during the shift. Scouts must be wearing their Field Uniform (Class A). For the first few weekends, we will try our best to pair new scouts with experienced scouts. 2 Scouts per shift. We take the total amount sold during the weekend (all locations) and divide it between the scouts. We keep a record of this and will update you periodically. Hello, Pack 359 Family, Tomorrow evening at 6:30 pm is our first Pack meeting of the year! It will be held in the church sanctuary. Uniform is Field (Class A). No hats please as we are in the the church sanctuary! Scouts will seat in the front. Pews will be marked. We ask that the Tiger parents sit in the pew behind their Scouts.
