  • Pack Meeting Monday 12/5 and December events

    Our December Pack Meeting is tonight at 6:30 in the chapel. We’ll have some belt loops and a few other awards to hand out. Wear your Class A uniform.   Thanks to everyone who came out to help with Christmas in the Park and who participated in the Christmas Parade! Our Christmas festivities aren’t quite over yet though, we have two more events coming up:   Troup Christmas Parade:  The Troup Christmas Parade is this Thursday at 6:00 pm. We will meet at the same location as the Sesquicentennial parade, in the parking lot of the administration building across from the Elementary School. Scouts should be there at 5:00 pm in their Class A uniform, along with any Christmas accessories. The route will be the…

  • PACK MEETING – 6:30 WUMC – Webelos need to be there early to do FLAG Ceremony!

    PACK Meeting Tonight!!  Please be in Class A Uniform!   Rachel will call the colors to begin the meeting. Gregory will call the colors to close the meeting.   Because we have a lot of Scouts in extracurricular activities in the Spring, I want to go ahead and meet Tuesday at 6:30 to start work on our first aid achievement and discuss our Christmas service activity.   Thanks to Matthew, Rachel, Cooper, Harrison, Madoc, and Evie for doing a GREAT job for the Whitehouse Christmas Parade!!!

    This Saturday is Christmas in the Park and the Whitehouse Christmas Parade. Below are details for each.   Christmas in the Park We will have a booth set up to sell flag subscriptions and will have an archery game for kids, as well as materials to make homemade cards to deliver to Prestige when we go Caroling on the 17th. This is a great opportunity to help fundraise for the Pack, especially if you’re not able to help deliver or pick up flags. It’s also a great opportunity for your scout to share their love of scouting with all the visitors in the park. Market hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with set-up beginning at 7:00 am.   • Homework and Updates

    Tonight we started our Paws for Action requirement. To complete this requirement we have some homework for you to help your scout with: Make a list of emergency numbers and discuss with your family where the list should be kept. Show your family that you know how to call for help in an emergency. Talk with your family about people who could help you if a parent is not available. With your family, develop a plan to follow in case of an emergency, and practice the plan at least three times. Your family can determine the emergency, or you can develop several plans.
