Good afternoon! Sorry for the late notice but I’ve been under the weather the last couple of days. This weekend our Den is in charge of placing the 30 flags out in front of Prestige Estates. We will meet Sunday at 4 at 6928 Paluxy Dr. You will need to park along Roy Rd near Paluxy for the better spots. Please have your kids in their Class A uniform. Many hands make for light work. Hey Pack! We still have 15 routes that need to be covered. Once flags go out this weekend they won’t have to be picked up until after July 4th. So please everyone get involved and sign up for a route asap so we can make sure they all get covered. As several of you know, there will be program changes next year. Many of the current adventures will be retired. As your new Advancement Chair, I need your help! I have two requests for ALL parents: 1. Log in to Scoutbook.scouting.org and check your scout’s Advancement record Make sure every adventure and award they have earned is marked off! If you worked on an elective adventure or award at home and didn’t tell your den leader, it will not be recorded as complete unless you have marked it as such. As of August 1st, you will no longer be able to record ANY retired electives or awards (I do not know if historical records can be modified past this point either, so your best…
Hey Pack, We have been in contact with Camp Tyler this morning. Our camping location and most of Camp Tyler is still saturated from last week’s rain, and with today’s rain and the forecasted rain, the ground won’t have time to recover before our camp. Even parking without getting stuck will be tricky. All reservation fees will be refunded. We hope to arrange a day at Camp Tyler later this month so Scouts and Families can enjoy everything Camp Tyler offers. Please let us know if you have any questions.
