Hike

This Saturday we will be having our 1st hike! We will meet at 2:00 at UT Tyler by the tennis courts. Be sure and bring a bag for your kiddo with the 6 essentials we discussed in last Monday night’s meeting. Be sure and have a whistle so we can practice SAW! 6 essentials: water bottle, trail food, sun/weather protection, first aid kit, flashlight, and whistle! thank you for all you do! Pack Meeting

Howdy Pack 359, How about those Chiefs!  Wow, what a game!  Anyways, tonight we will be having our monthly pack meeting at 6:30.  We will be kicking off our pinewood derby season and handing out cars for the scouts.  Additional cars will be for purchase at a cost of $4 (cards accepted). Rumor has it a special guest will be there, you don’t want to miss this! The Scout shop has moved temporarily while the old building is renovated it’s new location is 4908 Hightech Drive, Tyler.  Due to this move we will not be handing out advancements tonight and will have to wait until next month so keep working on those Duty to God and other advancements! Den Meeting, 01/13/20!!

Howdy, AOL Family! Monday we will be working on our last required adventure!  I will also be meeting with each individual scout/parent to discuss what is missing for AOL advancement. We have a campout next weekend with Troop 356.  I need a headcount for this.  It’s planned for Martin Creek State Park.  I’ll be asking tomorrow if you plan to attend. Pinewood Derby is upon us……we will be selling goods at build day and race day to help offset costs for our AOL banquet.  Let me know if you’re interested in leading this cause! Monday Night

Howdy Wolves! I had so much fun learning about germs last Monday. How’s the mold growing going? Jack’s banana looks pretty gross. Monday we will work on the Adventures in Coins belt loop (pg 106). Please bring any interesting coins to share with the den and crayons for rubbings. I will miss Monday night because of work travel. Steve and Katherine will be leading in my absence. Monday meeting

Happy New Year! Monday we will be meeting over by Fresh on the corner of Old Jacksonvilld and Three Lakes Pkwy at 6. There is a walking path that goes from Fresh to Bruno’s.  This is going to be our 3 mile hike that is a requirement for Webelos Walkabout Adventure .  Please prepare a small snack to eat while on the trail and also a small first aid kit for the hike.  It will get dark while on the trail so please bring a flash light.  If you have any questions please get with me. 903-952-7234

Tigers first meeting of 2020 coming up Monday, Jan. 13th

Howdy Tiger Team!! Monday night we will be making our BIRD HOUSES! BRING A TOWEL to work on, A SMALL HAMMER AND PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER to our meeting. If you have not paid your $3 for the bird house please bring that also.   I hope everyone has been working on their DUTY to God award over the Christmas Break.   Free open house set Saturday at TJC science center The Tyler Junior College Earth and Space Science Center will open its doors for free on Saturday, Jan. 11. It will offer the public an opportunity to check out recent technology updates and enjoy a new show under the Hudnall Planetarium’s 40-foot dome. The TJC science center is located at 1411 E. Lake St., and Saturday’s operating hours are 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Parking is free.
