Family Camp

Calling all Bears! This weekend is Fall Family Camp at Camp GW Pirtle and we hope to see you all there.  If you plan to attend even just for the day Saturday, we will be working on Bear Picnic Basket for an elective as well as the Fur, Feathers, and Ferns requirement. If you will be there on Saturday please bring stuff for your family for Dutch Oven pizzas.  You will need (have your scout help shop if possible): Pre-cooked pizza crust (like Biboli) Pizza sauce (plastic squeeze bottle works well) Desired toppings Mozzarella cheese or cheese of your choice. We will prep, cook, and clean up as a den for lunch on Saturday.  This along with some of our discussion will complete our Bear…

Reminders!

Welcome to the super busy October! I know you are busy getting ready for Mom and Me if you are joining us and we hope that you are, but please don’t forget that we have our bear carnival Monday night immediately following the pack meeting. We are asking that you be there no later than 6 PM to set up your carnival game outside. We will be reserving the part of the parking lot closest to the playground for the bear carnival due to voting in the fellowship hall. Please remember that your Scout will be running their own game and will need to have candy or prizes to pass out. This will be held outside so bring a jacket! If you have any questions or…

Tonight’s meeting

Hello BEAR families! The first den update was a mistake so disregard! Tonight we will be working on our Bear Necessities requirement.  We will start inside (same place as last week) and move outside so please wear your Class B uniform (that’s the t-shirt) if you have one.  We will be putting up tents.  A water bottle is a good idea as well.  Be ready to talk about your carnival ideas. Below you will find updates from the pack. Mom and Me (or dad and me or grandparent and me, etc) is October 22nd-23rd at Camp Pirtle. This event is a favorite of scouts all over the area.
