Hello Webelos Families! We are not meeting tonight. I apologize for the late email. Whitehouse 4th grade has Staar testing tomorrow (and I’ll be at a softball game tonight). Our next meetings are April 21st at the church and April 28th for a hike (Location TBD by our kiddos!). On the 21st we’ll start “Tech on the Trail” where we’ll learn about global positioning systems and plan a 2 mile hike. The following Monday, we’ll go on a hike. See you next week! Lacey

Hello Den 6! Tomorrow we are going to work on our Math on the Trail elective. I’d like for us to meet across the street at the Whitehouse football stadium. We’re going to time ourselves walking a lap around the track and do some calculations! (Basically, we’re going to estimate how long it would take us to do a long hike). Fun, right?? Since this weather has been so great today, let’s meet at Blackhawk Creek Hike and Bike Trails at 6:30 and hike together! Good morning Webelos! We’re so proud of all of our Webelos and can’t wait to continue to journey of Scouting with you. Sign ups for Spring break camp are coming soon- here are the basic details of the trip: When : Saturday, March 14 – Monday March 17th Where: Brushy Creek State Park Spring Break Camp is a time for families to spend time with each other in a relaxed way- there may be some pack planned activities ( I’ll let you know about those) but families are welcome to “do you own thing” If a good number of Webelos are going, we can plan a meal together and Courtney and I may put together a hike or activity for our group. Hello Webelos! We are meeting tonight to work on our Geology Elective. Courtney is preparing ingredients to make crystals (ROCK CANDY!) and I’ll work with your scouts on learning more about rocks.
