Hey Webelos parents! Just a reminder that because the room we typically meet in is occupied with voting equipment for one more week, we will be meeting at the city council chambers tonight, at 6:30, to hear from the Mayor of Whitehouse, James Wansley. This is in the building directly to the right of the city park, between the park and police department. We will continue our “Citizenship” requirement with this presentation. Please encourage your scouts to think of questions they may have for Mayor Wansley. Thanks!See you all this evening!

Hey Webelos parents! These kids have been working so hard to complete adventures toward their Webelos rank! Since we have family camp coming up this weekend, I just wanted to share the requirements for the camping elective for this rank. It’s optional, but would be fun for the kids to earn. I will post the requirements below, and if your scout decides to complete them, please let me know.  Also, if anyone’s scouts want help learning bowlines and a teepee fire lay, I will have Mr. Chris from the Wolf den teach us. while we’re camping. Hello Webelos Families!  We are meeting tonight under the pavillion behind the church near the playground. We’re going to start working on our “My Community” adventure. Ms. Courtney and I have a fun evening planned that had a lot to do with voting and our government!  Are you planning on going to Fall Family Camp this week-end? I hope so! Hello Webelos Families!  The kids decided they would like to complete our two-mile hike at Tyler Nature Center on Bascom Rd. Hello Webelos Families!  I’m excited to see you and your kiddos tonight. Our next step in earning our Webelos rank is to plan a Two-Mile Hike! Courtney and I will tell the kids about two different places we can go and let them decide which one they want to do. We have Monday, October 21st at 6:00 planned for our hike! That is 30 minutes earlier that our usual meeting time. If that makes if difficult for anyone to attend, please let Courtney or myself know. Hello Webelo Families!!  I am so excited to see old and new faces tonight at our FIRST DEN MEETING for the season! We will meet at 6:30 in Friendship Hall.
