District PWD, Scout Sunday, Committee Meeting, Spring Break Camp Meeting
Upcoming Events:
- Saturday, March 4th: District PWD
- It is time for the District Pinewood Derby!!!
- When and Where: District Pinewood Derby Race Day is March 4th @ Whitehouse UMC (405 W. Main Street
Whitehouse, Texas 75791). The Race will be held in Friendship Hall (rear of building). - Schedule
- Registration: 8am-9am
- Judging: 9am-9:30am
- Races Begin: 9:30am
- We will start with Lions and work our way upwards through the ranks.
- We will have real race cars onsite provided by the Hawkins Racing Team for the scouts to see, take pictures of and talk to the drivers.
- Sunday, March 5th: Scout Sunday⚜️
- We will be celebrating Scout Sunday this Sunday at Whitehouse UMC. The purpose of Scout Sunday is to celebrate the anniversary of Scouting and to recognize our charter organization, Whitehouse UMC. It is a great opportunity to show the congregation the impact and importance of scouting, honor our Scouts and adult volunteers whose activities serve the community, and invite those in the congregation who would like to get involved to join as either Scouts or volunteers. We invite all Scouts and their families to join us at the 9:30 service this Sunday at UMC.
- We ask Scouts to please be at the church by 9:20, wearing their full Class A uniform.
- The Troop will be serving kolaches, donuts and water after the service. We invite you to stay and meet some of the congregation and Pastor Cameron, an Eagle Scout himself!

- Sunday, March 5th: Committee Meeting
- The committee meeting this month will be this Sunday at Whitehouse UMC at 2:00pm. We will discuss upcoming events for the pack. All parents are invited to attend. This is a great way to get your voice heard and see how you can volunteer!
- Wednesday, March 8th: Spring Break Camp Meeting – GET YOUR HEALTH FORM C SIGNED!
- This Wednesday we will have a meeting at 6:30pm at the church for all those attending Spring Break Camp at Petit Jean State Park. We will go over some specifics regarding the park, as well as have a physician on site to sign Health Form C for all attending camp. HEALTH FORM C IS REQUIRED BY BSA FOR ALL WHO WILL BE ATTENDING AN EVENT 72 HOURS OR MORE. IT MUST BE SIGNED BY A PHYSICIAN (MD, DO), NURSE PRACTICIONER, OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT. If you are unable to attend the meeting on Wednesday, please have this form completed by your primary care provider and send it to the pack email at etacpack359@gmail.com as soon as possible. Access the health forms here (We should already have forms A & B. We will let you know if we do not have those on file.).
