Monday, Sept 10 Meeting is for the Parents!
Howdy, Pack 359 Family!
It's time to get back in the swing of all things regarding Scouting. However, our 1st meeting this Monday at 6:30 pm will be for the parents.
Why??? To take care of administrative issues.
1. Health Forms – We need these completed and turned in for all Scouts and any family member planning to participate this year. Copy of your medical insurance needs to attached. If we can get them all turned in at the beginning of the year for EVERYONE, it will limit the number of times you have to print it out during the year. We will carry the health forms to all Pack related activities. I have attached the health forms. Save it to your computer.
2. Recharter Fees – Our annual registration with the BSA. Unfortunately, prices have increased through the national office. The cost is $50 per Scout. You must register and pay online at etacpack359.org/register. We will be monitoring payment, and your Scout will be asked to not come to meetings until payment has been made. We will have computers set up at the meeting to do this as well.
3. YPT – It has changed this year. We ask that all adults complete this training online at my.scouting.org. You will be emailed a certificate after completion. We will need a copy of the certificate. YPT must be completed by Sept. 30, but get it done now!
4. NASA – Saturday, October 6. The pack is covering the cost of Scouts and one adult. Additional persons are $60/person. You must register and pay online at etacpack359.org/nasa. I will be opening registration up to new Scout families if all spots do not fill.
Please have these forms (health forms, YPT) ready to turn-in.
The meeting is come and go, so don't feel like you have to be there at 6:30. Scouts do NOT have to attend.
