Team Tiger! (a little bit of homework)

Hello Tiger Families!

I missed seeing everyone last night. It's hard to believe that the schools are closing again because of COVID. It feels like deja vu! However, I'm confident that things will be back to normal soon.

I have some “homework” to help us stay on track towards earning our Tiger Advancement by the end of May. We will now start working on TEAM TIGER! Because we missed last week, I would like for you as a family to work on Adventure requirement #1:

“With your parent, guardian, or other caring adult talk about what it means to be part of a team. List some of the teams you are on (your den, your class, your family, sports team etc..), and explain how you can help each one.” Example: As a member of your family, how do you play an important role? how can you help “team family?”

Please let me know if you have completed this at our next meeting on February 24th. At our next meeting we'll talk about our own “Team Tiger” and how each child plays an important role in our group! I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Pinewood Derby Build Day is this Saturday! If you were not able to pick up a car at last week's pack meeting, have no fear! We will have extra kits available for your child. If you would like an extra one for a sibling or for yourself, the cost is $5 (your scout's car is free–thanks to flag service fund raising). An email from our Pack leaders will come out soon with more information about build day. If you would like to volunteer to help scouts and their parents build the cars, please contact Cody Baker at 903-539-1763.

Many thanks for all you do!

Cheers,

Lacey
