Hike Tonight!

Just a reminder we will have our 30-minute hike tonight at Blackhawk Creek Hike and Bike Trails.  I would not have your scout wear a Class A to the hike, t-shirts are fine.  If they have them, please have them bring their 6 Essentials along for the hike (full water bottle, whistle, first aid kit, sun protection, flashlight, and snack (snack will be provided).  We will need flashlights, as the sun may set before returning to the pavilion.  Please reach out to me if you have any questions.  (903)-780-0845.     

No meeting, homework assignment

Happy Monday Lions! We will not be meeting today, I am feeling under the weather. However, there are a few adventures that are designed to be done at home with your scout. Please complete Lion’s Roar this week. Complete the following requirements Activities to fulfill these requirements are listed below. Choose one activity for each requirement to complete Lion’s Roar. Requirement 1 With permission from your parent or legal guardian watch the Protect Yourself Rules video for the Lion rank. Meeting this week

AOLs will meet TOMORROW, not Tuesday so that families can attend the Fall festival at Brown.  We are starting Personal Fitness tomorrow night so please have the scouts wear athletic style clothes and tennis shoes.  We will be playing kickball!  We will also vote on a new patrol leader.

Tyler State Park Hike

Just a reminder that the Bears will be doing their hike at Tyler State Park, Sunday October 20th. We will meet at the state park playground at 9:00 am. Please have them wear their Class B shirts and carry their backpacks with their 6 essentials. The State park is located at 789 Park Rd 16, Tyler TX 75706 and it will cost $6.00 for anyone over 13. Parade today!

Hey Lions, the parade is today! I will not be there, but if you have any questions or need help finding the drop off point call or text Chelci at 903-539-9053. Don’t forget roads start closing at 7am, so give yourself time to walk to Glenwood and Front.   Here is the information on the Rose Parade this upcoming Saturday October 19. We will open the parade again this year! We would love for you to come and show the East Texas Tyler Community what Cub Scout Pack 359 is all about! Hike and Trash Pick up at Blackhawk Creek Hike and Bike Trails Monday 10/21

Good morning, I wanted to send a reminder that we will begin our “Paws on the Path” activity on Monday evening at 6:30 PM at Blackhawk Creek Hike and Bike Trails, located at the end of Patrick Road in Whitehouse. To get there, turn onto Hagan Road from Highway 110, then take a right onto Corey Drive (the second street on the right). Follow Corey Drive to the end, make a left onto Patrick Road, and continue through the yellow gate. The pavilion will be on your right. If you need further directions, please feel free to contact me. We would love for you to come and show the East Texas Tyler Community what Cub Scout Pack 359 is all about! No Den Meeting & Rose Parade Info

  Please remember that we do NOT have a den meeting tonight.   If you wish for your child to walk in the Rose Parade on 10/19 please read the following instructions. Our pack is opening the Tyler Rose Parade again this year. Scouts need to be in Class A Uniforms. Please be at the meeting spot at 7:30. (the parade does not start until 9, so please make sure you are prepared to wait a bit, and that your scout has something to eat and drink while we wait before the parade starts) Our Lions and Tigers will ride on the trailer for the parade.
