Bike RODEO is JUNE 11th!!
Got ahead of myself – Bike rodeo is next weekend!!
Also good time to mention that our Flags stay out for June Flag Day and July 4th, so no flag pickup in June – however there will be a flag BUILDING day coming up as we have over 20 new customers, so watch for a message from Cubmaster Cody!
Don't forget the SCOUT BICYCLE RODEO – NEXT SATURDAY, JUNE 11th!! Bring your bikes and meet up at the Green Acres Parking Garage 8am-12pm. This event is going to be a lot of fun. We have a few stations for the kids, Multiple City of Tyler departments that will be there to show off their vehicles and speak to the kids. The Tyler PD Bike Unit will be there and will do a demo. We have food truck, snow cones and TXDOT is donating a free bicycle helmet, front and rear bike light, light-up wrist band and reflective backpack to all the kids. This event is open to all scouts, their families and any friends they would like to invite as well. Its a great opportunity to recruit new scouts.
Webelos Camp Registration – I need to know which Scouts are interested in going AND what parents are interested in going down for one night sometime June 14 – 17….
Tuesday, June 14th through Saturday, June 18th at Camp Pirtle
Webelos scouts CAN attend by themselves, but Adults are HIGHLY recommended to attend with their scouts for their first camp experience. Youth and Adults must have “Part C” Scouting Health form completed to attend. There has been some discussion about our parent group “tag teaming” so that one or two parents are camping with our Scouts each evening – maybe most parents camp the first night and then a team switches out so we don't wipe out everyone's vacation days at work, etc. Parents, talk with your Scouts and if this sounds interesting, email me (gdel@tjc.edu) so we can see who might be going! Looks like registration is $66 for the scout, $100 for a parent, BUT we could swap out a different parent for each night and everyone pay $20. Camp T-shirts can be ordered for an additional $15. Registration will close, so talk this over with your SCOUT! *** Parents – text me at 903-574-3787 if you can attend camp with your scout, and let me know what night(s) you could stay*****

Zoo registration is still up on the pack site – there is a limit of 75 people total. We will be “camping” inside zoo education buildings, not out in the heat! The Pack is setting up a wait list in case any families cancel. Cancellations may be made up to 10 days prior to the event. After that, the $20 deposit (and any additional tickets purchased) will be non-refundable (save for extreme circumstances.)
