Monday Night Den event: classic sports cars & ice cream

Hello Den 5! We will meet Monday night at 6 PM at 520 Sherry Lane in Tyler. This is the private residence of Billy Hibbs who has one of the largest private collections of classic sport and race cars in Texas. He has graciously invited us to tour his collection. Get ready to see some of the coolest cars around in one of the coolest garages you will ever see. In addition, Mr Hibbs has a real race car simulator that he will let the boys use (with supervision). Park in the motorcourt in front of the house. The garage door will be open so they can enter there. On the right as you face the house. We will break the boys into two groups….

Brookhill campout 5/11 (this Friday)

Reminder our den is camping out in front of the traveling Vietnam Wall Friday May 11 at Brookhill school to look over the Vietnam Wall. • Tent setup 5-6 • YES there is a bathroom • Pizza is being brought (if you haven’t RSVP please text Kathy 903.235.4402) • A fire pit is being brought • Bring a tent for your family • Tents put away before 8!!! on Saturday • Class A Uniformed needed Saturday morning to help with flag ceremony Yours in scouting, Kathy

Important Regarding Day Camp!

Hello, Pack 359 Family!! You will be receiving a flyer in the mail from the council office regarding Day Camp, June 18-22.  Please do NOT pay the council. If your Scout is going to attend Day Camp, we are going to send out a separate email with payment information.  The Pack is going to cover $25 of the $75 cost.  So, you will only have the $50 to cover.   So, please don't pay the council, or you won't get the discount. I will register the entire pack at one time through the council office. Please be on the lookout for the email regarding registering and paying online. Thanks. Yours in Scouting, D. Important Den Meeting, Monday, 5/7/18

Hello, Pack 359 Family!!! Monday, 5/7/18, we will ALL be meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. From there, we will split off from the church to assigned neighborhoods to place door hangers. Door hangers, you ask??? Well, we are starting a new fundraising effort to supplement our Popcorn sales.  We are still going to sell Popcorn but are trying an alternate plan for revenue. We will be providing a flag service for the Whitehouse area.  We will initially install and then place flags for 7 patriotic holidays.  We are trying to get this project off the ground for Memorial Day. So, tomorrow is the 1st step in this new endeavor.  We need your help to place door hangers to advertise for our flag…

Webelos Camp – Money

I will be at the church at 6:30 to collect money of those who signed up but haven’t paid for Webelos camp. Please text me directly if you can’t make it 903.235.4402. Den Meetings for Monday, 4/30/18 & Important Announcements

Hello, Pack 359 Family!! There will be NO Den meetings for Monday!!! However, for those Webelos Scouts that are going to Webelos Camp in June, Bob Prince will be at the church tomorrow at 6:30 pm to collect money for those that have not paid. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: 1.  Spring Family Camp – Friday, May 18 – Sunday, May 20 at Pirkey Environmental Park near Hallsville, TX (same place as Fall Family Camp).  Your Den Leaders will be getting a headcount for this campout.  It is important that we have an accurate headcount for Pack meal purposes.  The Pack will provide Saturday breakfast and dinner.  Also, we will be doing our Neckerchief Changing Ceremony.  If you are coming, you will need to go to the Scout Shop…

Tyler Mini Maker Faire this Saturday!

Good Morning, Pack 359 Family! The Tyler Mini Maker Faire is this Saturday, April 28, at Discovery Science Place in downtown Tyler from 9am- 5pm. You can go to tyler.makerfaire.com to purchase tickets. If  you wear your Scout uniform, you will get a special patch. Go out and have fun while supporting the community in your Scout uniform. Tyler Mini Maker Faire

Webelos Camp – Registration

Tonight is the night! Come to learn about and sign up for LIMITED SPACE of Webelos camp. We have to register as a pack for this event. We will discuss scout to adult ratio, what the scouts will do at camp, and what the scouts need for camp. Bob is planning an outdoor activity for the Webelos during this meeting.
