Remember, we’re doing the Grin & Bear It Adventure. We will be leading a carnival at the Pack Meeting on October 30. So, as I said last week, we need to come up with games for the carnival. I will ask that 2 Scouts design a game to present and oversee at the carnival. This will include designing, building, etc etc etc. I will assign the Scouts at tomorrow’s meeting. Come with some cool ideas. No darts or games that could harm somone!!! We’ll also be working on Flag Ceremonies again. I need my new Scouts to come see me so we can sign off on BOBCAT requirements.

We will be meeting at Jack Elementary tomorrow night at 6:15. Wear Field uniform (class A) and bring a clipboard if you have one. I will have forms for the boys as well as some popcorn in stock to sell.

Hi everybody, Great participation with frisbee golf. We are nearly finished with the Higher, Faster, Stronger requirements. Our next outing is with a first responder from ETMC. This means we are starting our second required pin called; wait for it, “First Responder”. How catchy. We will be starting with requirement #8 on page 85, in your scout handbook. Give it a quick look over with your boys. Meeting time is 6:30pm. I will try to be there about 15 minutes early to take roll call. Address is 352 S. Glenwood Ave. Tyler TX 75702. Saturday, October 28 our den will be meeting at Tyler State Park to do our 3 mile hike. Please note that our hike is more than a hike. We will be reviewing the entire requirement in a den meeting leading up to the hike. Exact time and location to come.

Hey Den5, Reminder for Den5 meeting this Monday Oct 2, 2017. We will be meeting at the ROC (18700 US-69, Tyler Tx 75703). If families want to show up at 6:00 to start it would be great. The boys will be playing group teams of four scouts. Nine holes maximum to finish within the hour time frame. Please bring frisbees and late starters may need headlamps to finish. Park will close at sunset so be prepared to play at a fast pace. Parking is available on the gravel near the outfieled of the baseball diamonds. We will start working on a new adventure on Monday. Please look at the requirements for Grin & Bear It. This is the adventure that requires us to lead a Pack level carnival which will be held at the Pack Meeting, October 30. Also, new Scouts, I need you to be working on Bobcat requirements so we can get those signed off. I’d like everyone to have their Bobcat rank by the next Pack meeting. Please remember we are meeting at the Whitehouse City Park on Monday night at 6:30. Wear old pack shirt if you have one and tennis shoes. We will be earning our Running with the Pack Advancement so lots of activity. Please bring completed health forms on Monday if you have not already. These need to be turned in for parents and scouts. Also, please complete the YPT at my.scouting.org.
