Den Meetings

Hello everyone, Arrow of Light den (5th) will meet at 6 tomorrow night.  Please see below for room assignments and other details Room Assignments Lions (k)-discovery room Tigers (1st)-outside under Pavillion Wolves (2nd)-Fellowship hall Bears (3rd)-meet on Tuesday at 6:30 see den leader Webelos (4th)-youth room AOL (5th)-Connor hall at 6PM Upcoming Events October 16th: Rose Parade (must have Field/Class A uniform) October 23rd-24th: Mom & Me campout at Pirtle register online https://etacpack359.org/momandme/. November 12-14th: Family Camp Parents be sure to be completing your Youth Protection Training.  If you don’t know how see Mrs. Somer tomorrow night.

Monday meeting

Happy Saturday! As I sit at the ag barn waiting on my oldest to finish up I’m using this time to prepare for our Monday den meeting. This Monday we will start inside but finish outside. Wear workout clothes and bring water and bug spray. Please look at Page 80 in your webelos book to prepare for the start of our first pin “Stronger, Faster, Hirer”. Don’t forget to turn in your health forms, YPT, and register for the pack and mom and me. The link to order t-shirts and hats should be ready Monday. BEAR DEN MEETING 6:45 WUMC TUESDAY SEPT. 28th!!!

Howdy Bear Families!! We have at least 4 new families joining the Den4 Family, so as we gather TUESDAY at 6:45pm at WUMC, be sure to reach out, introduce yourselves and make our newest members feel welcome!!! All new scouts will need to earn their BOBCAT AWARD – It’s on page 24 of your Bear book, and I’ll have handouts. Might want to brush up on our Scout Law and Scout Oath, everybody!! The BEAR neckerchief is light blue and we will need those by the October Pack Meeting.  Pack Meetings remain on Monday nights at 6:30pm, and the BEARS will be providing the ever-popular BEAR carnival on October 25th. We’ll talk about that more at our Den Meetings. We will go to work right…

Upcoming Events

Howdy Pack 359, Here is a rundown of upcoming scouting events. Tomorrow is the ALL parent meeting.  Please bring a pen, insurance cards, and be ready to fill out paperwork.  Kids will have a movie to watch.  If you were asked to help out and have a brown shirt please wear it. First official den meetings Monday September 27th at 6:30pm Whitehouse United Methodist (Bears or 3rd grade will meet Tuesday night, see den leader for details). October 23rd-24th is the Council Mom & Me. Please do not register with the council, we will register as a pack. I cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow.

Flag Retrieval

Howdy! In case you missed the message from the Pack earlier this week, it is time for us to pick up flags. If you are NOT able to pick up the same route you delivered, please let me know. Otherwise, I will assume you have it covered. If you were not able to help deliver flags, but can assist during Pick Up, please let me know. There were several routes (pack-wide) that were not covered during deliveries. Our routes are: Route A1 – McElroy Road near Camp Tyler. 11 Flags with 11 Customers Route A2 – Peninsula Road. 11 Flags with 10 Customers – Emily Russell already picked up Route A3 – Acker Tap and North Whitehouse – 8 Flags with 7 Customers – Jacen Jones Route…

Labor Day Flag Pick-Up

Good Evening Pack! Labor Day and Patriots’ Day have come and gone and it’s time to retrieve our Flags. Please coordinate with your Den Leaders for your routes (Or do them a HUGE favor and say you’ll get your same route as last time 🙂 ). All routes can be found at https://etacpack359.org/routes. Recruitment events and Flag Pick up This Week!!!!

Hello to all BEAR Families!! Hopefullly you have gotten “in the groove” of school/work/life craziness and had a great weekend.  We are gearing up for a super Scouting year with a Leader’s meeting tonight, recruitment events this week, and DEN Meetings starting back after that – see the schedule of events below!!  All the BEAR Scouts I’ve seen have grown a mile this summer – time to see if those uniforms still FIT!!! Flag pick-up

It’s going to start raining and pouring this week from the Tropical storm Nicolas. Today I will be in a den leader meeting at the church so the church will be open to receive flags from 6:30-8:00. If you can pickup the same routes you put out that would be great.
