Below are details for each.   Christmas in the Park   We will have a booth set up to sell flag subscriptions and will have an archery game for kids, as well as materials to make homemade cards to deliver to Prestige when we go Caroling on the 17th. It’s also a great opportunity for your scout to share their love of scouting with all the visitors in the park. Market hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with set-up beginning at 7:00 am. We…

Homework and Updates

Tonight we started our Paws for Action requirement. To complete this requirement we have some homework for you to help your scout with: Make a list of emergency numbers and discuss with your family where the list should be kept. Show your family that you know how to call for help in an emergency. Talk with your family about people who could help you if a parent is not available. With your family, develop a plan to follow in case of an emergency, and practice the plan at least three times. Your family can determine the emergency, or you can develop several plans. Display the flag in your home for one month showing proper care and respect. We have also started a GroupMe that I…

Meeting the Mayor tonight!

Hey Tigers! We have a special guest at tonight’s meeting. Along with the Lions, we’ll start our meeting off with the Whitehouse Mayor, James Wansley! TONIGHT – WUMC – 7pm – Mayor Wansley visits Scout Meetings to help us with the “Building a Better World” Achievement

Happy Monday-After-Thanksgiving Break – hope everyone had a great holiday!!! What a great time we had with our Cast Iron Chef achievement – did anyone make a box oven to cook over the holiday? TONIGHT – 7pm – WUMC  Whitehouse Mayor James Wansley will be our Guest Speaker to help both the Webelos and Arrows with our “Building a Better World” Achievement.  We will be meeting with him as Whitehouse Mayor to talk about what his job is as Mayor of Whitehouse, what your rights and duties are as a citizen, energy issues in our community (remember being without power a few years back?) and ways we Scouts can help our community!  We will also review our Flag etiquette and some history of the US…

Meeting Tonight at the Tyler Police Station at Faulkner Park

Hello Wolf Families, I hope everyone had a restful holiday last week. It was nice slowing down for a little bit. Tonight at 6:30 is our visit to the Tyler Police Station at Faulkner Park. The address is 574 W Cumberland Rd, Tyer, TX 75703. Matt Riggle, Hunter’s Dad is Chief of police there. He will meet us out in front of the station and walk us in. Please encourage your Wolves to think of any questions they may have for our police officers. Thank you so much for all you do to support your scouts! Sincerely, Lacey

Monday night meeting

Howdy, I hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving break. I know an evil fever virus was going around. Monday night wear your class A and be on time, as the mayor of Whitehouse is coming to talk with us. Prior to the meeting your scout should watch the local news and have a question for our mayor. Jack has done both! He informed me the news is boring. Tomorrows meeting is a requirement. Please do not miss. Kathy.

Flag Pick Up This Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving Break Scouts and Scout Families!! This is the weekend that the Flags placed for Veterans Day are picked up. Flags can be placed against the wall of the east side of the Church. If you find a flag or pole that is damaged, please remove the yellow tape so it can be inspected before Presidents Day. If you have any questions, please contact Eric Sivula at 903-539-1278.
