Blue & Gold Banquet and Arrow of Light Crossover

It’s that time of year again, Blue & Gold is just around the corner!   The Blue & Gold Banquet is a time for families to come together to celebrate our Cub Scouts and their achievements this year. We will present the Scouts with their belt loops and rank badges, along with any other awards. We also thank our Pack leaders and other volunteers who run the Pack and help organize our events for the year.   This year, we will also have the privilege of hosting the Arrow of Light Crossover Ceremony. We are starting our run on available Electives – please take a look at the Webelos Achievement requirements and insure your Scout has fulfilled those! Here’s a hint – everyone gets to learn a new skill with an item you get to keep tonight!!! Overnighter Info – we have a date! We’re going to the U.S.S. Tonight!!

Tonight we will be finishing several requirements and our Forensics elective! We will be meeting outside under the pavilion at 6:30. Mrs. Gigi is SICK :( NO Meeting tonight for Webelos!

Hi team! The pollen and weird weather have conspired against me – I tried to sleep it off last night but am still struggling with clogged head, scratchy throat, cough and fever this afternoon, so I am electing NOT to share my germs with everyone – NO MEETING TONIGHT!!    I have some great projects lined up for our Electives including creating yard stepping stones, a tour of the geology lab at TJC, and learning how to yo-yo – all of which require me to be up close and personal with all your scouts – so take a family night to just recover from the back-to-school grind, and get ready for some fun activities for this spring.  I am starting to get my grandkid’s baseball…

My Tiger Jungle

Hey Tigers! Tonight we are going to work on our “My Tiger Jungle” requirement. Please be sure your scout is dressed for outside. Class B t-shirts are just fine for this evening. For those still on Spring Break, here are the requirements: We will be completing 1, 2 & 3. Complete Requirement 1 plus at least two others. 1. With your parent/guardian or other caring adult (referred to in the handbook as “your adult partner”), go for a walk outside, and pick out two or more sights or sounds of “nature” around you.
