Hey Tiger families! Tonight is our first Den Meeting of the new scouting year at 6:30 at the United Methodist Church in Whitehouse. Our first goal is to complete all of our requirements to earn our Bobcat Rank before the October Pack Meeting. We’re working on the Scout Law tonight. See you there!
Hello Wolf Families! We will be meeting today in Pike Hall (where we met last year) at 6:30pm. If you have an extra pair of scissors and a permanent marker to bring to the meeting, that would be great. We will be cutting out pieces of leather to make wolf neckerchief slides. If you have your class A (blue button down Scout shirt) please wear it. If you don’t have one yet, that’s not a problem. This year we will be learning how to do a real flag ceremony! We have two Den Chiefs (Boy Scouts from Troop 359) that will help lead your boys and girls in the flag ceremony each week. This will be a great opportunity for our kids to learn from…
I’m so excited about our first den meeting! We will be starting off with an elective Grin and Bear It, which includes lots of fun games and activities! I will also have copies of our fall schedule of events and lessons that will be covered now until Christmas. Class B for tonight is fine! See you soon!

YAY! Tonight at 6:30 is our first den meeting. We will meet in the youth room. I will go over the years schedule, introduce scouts and set expectations. The scouts will play the bobcat game while parents discuss crossover. Kathy
Heyyyyy there Wild Webelos – I am SO excited about this year’s activities and can’t wait to see everyone Monday, September 26th, at 6:30 in our usual place in the back of the WUMC. Meetings this year will take place on Mondays and some Sunday afternoons at WUMC for longer projects that might take a bit more time to complete. We have some AWESOME activities coming up this year!!! ** IMPORTANT** Everyone PLEASE pick up your flags – if you had some that needed to be installed Tracy and I went and put them out for the holiday but most still need the PVC set into the ground – don’t miss those on your pick up rounds!! Howdy Scouting Families! I have a couple things to communicate this evening. First, Flags need to be picked up between Thursday and Sunday before 1pm and returned to the church. Next don’t forget about the Ice Cream Social, Thursday at 6:30pm at the Whitehouse Park. Please have scouts wear their uniforms. Parent Registration is Monday night at the church, 6:30pm. This is for all scouts not just the new ones. And last but not least…Den Meetings start up again September 26th!!

WEBELOS stands for We’ll Be Loyal Scouts and I want to thank all the flag families who have been so loyal to the flag program and already have flags out for Labor Day. If you have been totally wiped out by the “start of school” craziness of the last couple of weeks, PLEASE get your Flags out ASAP – this weekend is the holiday weekend!!!
