Hello Scouting Families, We will be finalizing our registration list for the July overnighter to the Ft. Worth Zoo in the next week. We only have 10 open spots so if you have not registered yet make sure to do so this week. The Ft. Worth Zoo is AWESOME and they run a great overnight program. This event is July 23rd and 24th. You will arrive at the Zoo the evening of July 23rd spend the night and have all day on July 24th to explore the Zoo.
Get your bikes ready for this Saturday’s Bike Rodeo!! It will be at Green Acres Parking Garage. Park in the worship center parking lot on Dulse St and walk up the parking lot to parking garage area. Rodeo is from 8am-12pm. We have fun ready to be delivered while the kids practice their bicycle skills. If you would like to help Volunteer. Please call/ text me at (903) 539-1763. Cody

Toay is the day! DEN 4 End -of- year pool party at the Neilsens’ home, 200 East Acker Tap in Whitehouse, starting at 6pm. I’ve heard from almost everyone – I’m getting pizza, and scout families are bringing paper goods, drinks, veggies, desserts, chips and dip. If your family has not signed up to bring something, bring yourselves and whatever your Scout would like. 😁 Can’t wait to see everyone!!!!

Hello Scout Families!! Our end-of-the-year pool party is most likely going to be washed away – chilly weather, lightning and thunderstorms are forecast for almost every hour tomorrow. The day might dawn just lovely, but with lightning in the area we’ve made the call to POSTPONE our year-end adventure until NEXT TUESDAY, MAY 31st, when both the temperatures and the weather seem to be more cooperative! The WUMC church will be open Saturday for flag pick up! If your family does not normally set out flags, if you can come in the morning and help pull flags out of storage, check for repairs, and put together new flags if need be. Howdy! I have talked to the hirer ups and our den will put flags out Monday night AFTER Webelos summer camp meeting. This meeting we will cover the schedule, what to pack and paperwork needed.
