Camping
Howdy,
Well my first email was deleted when we lost power. Try two. This weekend is family camp. I know some are coming out Friday and others Saturday morning. See attached basic camping list for items to pack. Note the weather and adjust packing accordingly (it will be cold). Don't forget a mess kit and cup. If you are not coming until Saturday please have your scout ready to start our den activity around 9:30-10:00 at campsite 4.
Food assignments – 20 people we are serving
- Santi – Heavy duty foil and sausage
- Gavin – Sausage, carrots
- Mark – 2 bags of charcoal and chimney
- Kenzie – Potatoes
- Jack – Spicy sausage and hotdogs
- Madison – s'mores
- If bringing potatoes or onions or carrots you might precut. It will help things go quicker when we prep the silver turtles
Scout items for requirements
- Flint and steel
- Kindling and tender (it is suppose to rain Friday morning so most items we could use at camp will be wet)
- Pocket knife
- Survival – the item your scout feels they must have)
I'm looking forward to this camp. It should be a lot of fun. We are sharing our campsite with tigers and lions.
