Camping and requirements
AOL Family
This last Saturday we worked on a couple of things with with Building A Better World and Outdoor Adventurer. We are going to be hosting the camp fire this weekend at our last Family Camp as Cub Scouts. I am asking each scout to come up with 1 skit and 1 song. We will go over them Saturday at camp to put the program together (we will not be performing all skits/songs but will choose what fits in the program together).
As a family each scout is needing to Duty to God in Action. I would like this to be completed by the end of December. I have attached the info for this requirement.
The Building a Better World requirement requires the scouts to learn about Scouting in another part of the world. With the help of your parent, guardian, or den leader, pick one country where Scouting exists, and research its Scouting program. I would like this to be done at home with the scouts and parents. The scout needs to make a poster with the information they find out about the Country they have chosen. If you have questions please get with me.
Family camp:
The pack needs health forms on all participants that will be attending. I have attached a copy.
We also need Youth Protection Training to be completed by every persons that will attend over the age of 18. We will need a copy of the certificate after completion. https://my.scouting.org/
These forms will be needed before you set up camp.
We will be camping as a Den. The scouts need to cook 1 more recipe without pots or pans. I was thinking of hot dogs over a fire with chips. I'm open to other ideas.
