Meeting Tonight

Hello Wolf Families! I hope everyone had a great week last week! Thank you to all who came to the Troop Parade last Thursday. I heard we had a great turn-out from Pack 359! Tonight is our last meeting until January. We are going to work on thank-you cards from the Tyler Police Department, and get started on the Running with the Pack Adventure. I’ll bring cards and some art supplies for each child to write in and decorate, but if you have stickers or markers to bring, please do! Thanks for all you do! Lacey

Volunteers needed

Hello! We need your help volunteer at our booth at Christmas in the park. This is a great opportunity to help fundraise for the Pack, especially if you’re not able to help with flag deliveries and pick up. It’s also a great opportunity for your scout to scar their love of scouting with all the visitors in the park. Check out the sign-up to see if any time slots work for you! Sign-up here!  Thank you so much!! Lacey

Meeting Tonight at the Tyler Police Station at Faulkner Park

Hello Wolf Families, I hope everyone had a restful holiday last week. It was nice slowing down for a little bit. Tonight at 6:30 is our visit to the Tyler Police Station at Faulkner Park. The address is 574 W Cumberland Rd, Tyer, TX 75703. Matt Riggle, Hunter’s Dad is Chief of police there. He will meet us out in front of the station and walk us in. Please encourage your Wolves to think of any questions they may have for our police officers. Thank you so much for all you do to support your scouts! Sincerely, Lacey

Den Family in a Car Accident

Hello Wolf Families, The family of Gage Smith was in a Car Accident last week. Gage and his mom, Amanda suffered some scratch and bruising, but they are okay. Gage’s father, Herschel had to be hospitalized. He had a broken elbow, cracked ribs and some internal bleeding. We are putting together a “meal train” to help ease this difficult time for them. Please consider cooking and delivering a meal to their home.  Here is the link to the meal train Smith Family Meal Train. Please reach out to me at 936-645-0707 or gladdies@yahoo.com if you have trouble accessing the spreadsheet or would like me to add your name for you. Meeting Tonight

Hello Wolf Family! What a cold but beautiful camp-out we had last weekend. For those who attended, you have earned your Polar Bear Patch! We slept in temps below freezing without a heater! Burrrrr! We will have those patches to distribute at our meeting on the 21st (next Monday). I have updated Scoutbook to show that most of you have completed the Call of the Wild Adventure and are almost finished with Howling at the Moon (all we have left for Howling at the Moon is to perform our original skit at a den meeting). We are going to start working on Council Fire tonight, and will talk about how to properly handle American Flags and how to fold them! I would love any parents…

Den Meeting Tonight

Hey Wolves! Lacey is out of town, so I’ll be running the show tonight. My voice seems to be on the fritz so bear with me! We’ll be starting our Howling at the Moon adventure which includes coming up with an original skit. Ideally this same skit will be performed at campfire at Fall Family Camp. We can also perform our skit at a Pack meeting to fulfill that requirement for those unable to attend Family Camp. Start thinking of skit ideas and bring a flashlight if you can. See you there!   Nicole

Meeting Tonight

Hello Wolf Families! I look forward to seeing everyone this evening. We’ll talk about what to do during severe weather and play a game fun game. I’ve also included this video that teaches us how to learn the leave no trace principles for scouts. We’ll be learning this and reviewing the Outdoor Code throughout our scouting year. Here is the video.  Thank you! Lacey
