2022 District Pinewood Derby District races will be on February 27th in Bullard this year hosted by Pack 366. Races will be held at Bullard Southern Baptist Church in the gymnasium. 716 North Houston St. Races begin at 1pm. They will start with Lions and work there way up by rank. If you are not racing but would like to attend you are welcome to do so. Also there will be a food truck onsite.
Wow!! What an exciting Pinewood Derby today! Give all your kids a high five from me. Pinewood Derby Award show is Monday at 6:30pm 1st and 2nd place in speed and style advance to District so take care of your cars. First off sorry this communication is later then expected. We had to wait on the Basketball Tournament schedule. Registration Registration will be Friday from 6pm-8pm in Pike Hall. Things generally run quicker if parents leave the kids at home for this. Style judging begins at 8pm so try to get to registration earlier rather then later. Race Day Races will take place den by den in Friendship Hall as follows: 8:00am- Bears 8:45am – Lions 9:30am- Wolves 10:15am – Tigers 11:00am – Webelos 11:45am – AOL Open immediately after AOL All races will be live streamed via Facebook as well. Happy Friday Cub Scouts! Whitehouse ISD announced closures through Wednesday because of Covid related concerns. The Pack will follow suit for the safety of our scouts and their families and not meet this week. There will be a Parents Night Out on Friday 1/21 from 7pm-10pm at East Texas Martial Arts. Howdy Pack! Tomorrow evening will be our first meeting of 2022! We’ll be in the Sanctuary at 6:30 PM. Remember, no hats in the sanctuary, please. Our first big event of 2022 is Pinewood Derby!!! Scouts will receive their cars and the official rules at the Pack meeting. There is no cost for the scout cars. If you would like an extra car (for adults, siblings, cousins, oopsies, etc), please bring $5 cash and we’ll have them available after the Pack meeting. Howdy Pack 359, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Tomorrow night at 6:30 will be our monthly Pack meeting. We will be in the sanctuary this time. Please wear your field uniform (class A) and bring a jacket. After all the meeting fun we will be heading across the street to see the first responders equipment. Saturday, December 4th is the Whitehouse Christmas Parade. Line up is at 4:30, enter at Stanton-Smith. Lions and Tigers will ride on the trailer and are required to have an adult with them.
