Howdy Bears! Happy 2021! Just a quick reminder tomorrow is pinewood derby build day. We will have all the equipment you need to build your pinewood derby cars (pwd). Don’t forget to register for a time REGISTER! This Sunday at 3:00 (inside, fellowship hall) will be make-up day. Come and catchup on requirements. If it is whittle chip please bring a pocket knife. If it is bear carnival bring a game and teach me to play! The following Sunday, January 17 we will meet at 1:00 at Mineola Nature Preserver to complete our last required belt loop. Pinewood Derby Build Day THIS SATURDAY Happy New year to all the WONDERFUL WOLVES!!  We will NOT be meeting as a Den this Tuesday to give you and your Scouts time to work on your fantastic PineWood Derby Cars.  Remember – there are awards for both SPEED and super-cool STYLE in all divisions. It looks like 7 Wolf families have already signed up for Build Day, but times look to still be available from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.  I’ll be dropping in between basketball games AND if anyone is available and nearby around 1:00 pm Den 4 is responsible for helping to pack up the equipment and cleaning up the place.  Tracy and Jason are moving all the equipment to the church right now!…

Howdy Den 7, I hope you are as excited about winter camp as I am!  We can have a trailer at the church between 3-4 if anyone needs to drop off gear, however, we NEED you to text us ASAP if that is a need or we will not be there.  Also, the first packing list said no shorts but in typical Texas fashion the weather has changed so your scout may bring 1-2 pairs of shorts but please also have them bring warm clothes, Be Prepared!  We have not heard from many as to if your scout is going to camp or not so please reach out. Merry Christmas!! I hope everyone has a great Christmas tomorrow!   I am writing to update about items to bring to Winter camp December 28, 29, 30th. Arrive at Camp Pirtle BEFORE 7:30 Monday.  I can meet at the church Sunday for gear from 3:00-4:00.  I will be taking a little trailer for gear. 1  WARM CLOTHES!!!! It’s going to be cold (NO SHORTS!!) 2  Bring plenty of socks and clothes to change into if we get wet.  Closed-toe shoes! 3  Make sure that you have warm stuff to sleep in.  Wear socks and warm hats to sleep in. 4  Class A and B. 5  Extra pair of shoes. 6  Day pack or back pack, pocket knife, toiletries, scout book (if you have one), flashlight, water…

This weekend our Boys will be camping with Troop 359 at Sparkman’s. 9848 County Road 2710, Whitehouse TX 75791 Please arrive at the camp location anytime after 9 AM Saturday Morning. Attached are instructions with a map and drawing. Watch the weather. We should be clear, but the ground will be wet from today’s rain. Scouts will need their Mess Kit, Cup & Water Bottle. If your scout has a compass or firestarter tools, he may bring them for the planned activities.
