Retired Communications

Communication specific for each den

Meeting tonight 6:30

This will be our last official lion meeting. I have lots to cover. We will work on our skit for Blue & Gold. Then we will be working on Ready, Set, Grow. Please bring: newspaper, scissors, hot glue gun, paper towel rolls or tubes, green paper… we are making a plant out of recycled material. I will have dirt and seeds for our real plants. Fallon is bringing cups. I will also discuss the Gizmos and Gadgets elective you can earn if you go the Mini-Makers Fair. Yours in Scouting, Kathy

Advancements Missing

We still have quite a few boys who have not reached out to us on completing Duty to God, Pamphlet or Cyber chip. Don’t leave the meeting tonight without talking directly to Bob. You can also email or text Bob. Thanks, Kathy

Game Night

We are going to have a fun game night. One of our scouts is going to teach a fun game for the den. If time remains we will have a soccer math afterwards. If you own some orange cones for markers please bring. Thanks Bob Prince, Den 5 leader

Community Service Project Tomorrow

For all the Bears needing a community service project to complete Paws in Action, tomorrow is the day. We will meet at the Whitehouse Baseball Fields, east of the high school on 346, at 6:30 pm. We will be trash collecting. Please wear your blue activity shirt. Also, complete those needed requirements for rank advancement and log them on Scoutbook. See you tomorrow!

Flag ceremony at Cross Over

Parents Den5 has been asked to run the flag ceremony for the Arrow of Light cross over this Saturday at the church we normally meet at. I would like to have four to six volunteers show up at 5:50pm to practice for the event. Have the boys in their class “A” uniforms, shirts tucked in with neckerchiefs. Shoot me an email/call if you can participate. Thanks for your support. Den5 leader Bob Prince

Request for last minute requirements needed

All Parents and guardians, Monday the 19th we are not meeting as a den, this is a great time to complete requirements. I am missing “Duty to God”, Youth Protection Pamphlet exercises and Cyber Chip Grades 4th -5th from many of you. Please complete as quickly as possible so I may get them approved for the Blue and Gold ceremony. If you do not recall what your boys are missing please contact me asap so I can help. Thank you for your assistance. Den5 leader Bob Prince
