Den Meeting tonight!

Hello Arrow families – hope you are enjoying the fall break!

Tonight we will begin learning about PATROL LEADERSHIP – the way Scouting enables young leaders by allowing them to take the lead within groups of Scouts known as Patrols. Your Scout will surprise you with what they can do on their own – just like this summer at Webelos camp, when every single scout who attended was able to get themselves dressed in full Class A uniform for flag service each morning (even though some can't get this all together for Pack Meetings at home, LOL.)  We received several compliments on how our Arrows/Webelos were self-sufficient – they are growing up! I know, it seems like just yesterday that they were Tigers or Wolves but I think they are getting prepared to really enjoy Scouting!

Just a reminder that we will be reviewing our SCOUT Oath, Salute, Law, etc. while we prepare some spooky snacks and review how Scouts keep themselves healthy and safe from food-related germs by a very set cleaning process all our Scouts need to learn before moving up to a Troop.  No dishwashers out there on the camping trail!!

Hopefully everyone got to see the eclipse this past weekend; I'll be asking the Scouts about that and I'd love to hear from any Arrows who were able to camp with the Troop or camping stories from Mom & Me.

See you tonight – WUMC – 6:30pm – back in the fellowship hall as usual!
