Important Updates – Please read! Remember – Pinewood Derby weigh in Friday, Race Day Saturday!

Hello all you wonderful BEAR families!!

** Important announcement!! We have some scouts in the Pack that are sick and others involved in the Little Dribblers Basketball playoff games.  JUST get the car to WUMC to get weighed in (6 to 8pm)  IF your Scout can't be there for Saturday's races, scout leaders will make sure their car gets to race all 4 races and ALL the races will be live streamed on Facebook.** AWARDS will be passed out at the February Pack Meeting.

Remember to pre register your car for the Pinewood Derby on the pack website etacpack359.org  to speed up weigh-in.  If you have problems, they can help at weigh-in to get everyone registered!  Each car has a place for the car's name, so be prepared with a great one!  Registration and weigh in is Friday night the 11th from 6 to 8 pm at WUMC  – there will be supplies to help everyone adjust their car weights, etc. – ALL CARS ARE LEFT AT THE CHURCH after they are weighed in!!!  Race day is Saturday the 12th – the Pack leadership is working on the race schedule now.  There will be another pack communication sent SOON with all the info you need for the  Pinewood Derby race and race schedule….I heard a rumor that BEARS will be racing EARLY – that is not confirmed, just a rumor…

NEXT BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – Each flag holiday, different Dens take turns putting up the 30 flags at Prestige Estates. Den 4 (that's us) is responsible for Prestige Flags for President's Day Feb 21 (just found out) and if approved, our February 15th Den Meeting will be at Prestige Estates so all Scouts can help put up the flags – this makes sure everyone has that requirement out of the way for Bear rank, AND will help out all our families that help run the regular Den 4 Flag routes.  Just a heads up to all our flag families and those who have to arrange transportation to get Scouts to meetings. I will sent out a reminder as soon as this plan is confirmed! ALSO – to my Bear families in charge of our assigned regular Flag deliveries – you can pick  up your flags at Pinewood Derby weigh in or Race Day while you are at the church to keep from making an extra trip!!
