Camp Ford

Good Morning, At last nights meeting we discussed our upcoming trip to Camp Ford. We will be meeting at the camp at 9 AM this Saturday (March 23) and hiking the camp learning about its history. We will then all come together for a picnic lunch and discussion. This will finish up our Paw for Action loop and be a hike makeup for the boys needing that advancement. We also discussed that all belt loop advancements needs to be completed by April 1st. Blue and Gold is on April 12th. Most of you need to be working on Duty to God and finishing that up. If you cannot make the Camp Ford excursion on Saturday please look in your book at the Paws for Action…

Den Meeting, 03/18/19

Howdy, Webelos Parents!! Monday’s meeting will be reviewing what your Scout needs to complete to ensure rank advancement at Blue & Gold. We will also start practicing skits for Blue & Gold. So, even if your Scout has completed everything, I need you to show up for the skit discussion and practice. Please remember, that the Webelos Den is in charge of the flag ceremonies for AOL Crossover this Saturday. I will need participation if you are in town. Come out and support your Pack and the AOL Scouts as they achieve the highest rank in Cub Scouting. See you tomorrow.

Cross Over Ceremony

AoL parents, Saturday March 23rd at 5:00 pm is our Cross Over Ceremony, please have the boys show up at 4:30 pm in their Class “A” uniform. We will start setting up around 2:00 pm at the Tasca Center (Front Building). We are providing cake, fruit trays, vegetable trays and meat trays at the reception afterwards. I would recommend the boys have dinner before showing up at the Tasca Center. Most troops usually take the boys camping for an overnighter after the ceremony. I know for a fact that Troop 356 is doing this. Have your scouts prepared. If you have any decorations specific for your son show up early and help set up. Any questions please contact me. Thanks, Den5 Leader Bob Prince

Finish Strong!!

Hey, Webelos Family, let’s finish up strong. Enter those requirements for Duty to God; Stronger, Higher, Faster; pamphlet exercises; Cyber Chip; etc etc etc into Scoutbook. Our next meetings will be catch up for those missing items…..Thanks for all you do! GET IT DONE!!

Spring Break Campers!!!!

Howdy, Spring Breakers, Please remember to pack for the weather for our upcoming Spring Break trip to Lake Eufaula near Checotah, OK. When you arrive, please inform the check-in station you are with our Pack. I have once again attached the “What to Bring List.” We will be performing a service project while there, so gloves would probably come in handy. Please travel safely. Yours in Scouting, D.
