Hey Scout families! Just a reminder that Troup’s Sesquicentennial Parade is tomorrow morning! Scouts need to be in their Class A uniform – for new scouts, this includes the blue (or tan for Webelos/Arrows) button down shirt, neckerchief, slide, and belt. We do not require official BSA pants or shorts. Any nice pants or shorts with belt loops is fine (jeans, tan, blue, black, or green are what our scouts usually wear – please no holes or rips). For our Lions, the uniform is the BSA Lion t-shirt. Hats are optional, and scouts can wear the Pack 359 hat if they have one. The Scout store is open today until 5:00 PM if you still need a uniform! Hey Webelos Scouts – The Pack is getting lots of questions so here are some updates to help clarify what’s happening this weekend!! 1.) There have been some questions about the Mom and Me campout (October 22nd-23rd at Camp Pirtle) to clear up. This event is a District cub scout event that costs $40 per person, however, our pack is able to cover a portion of the cost thanks to our flag subscription fundraiser. So if you want to attend the Mom and Me campout you will only have to pay $25 per person but you MUST SIGN UP ON OUR PACK WEBSITE! Hello! I look forward to seeing everyone this evening at 6:30pm. We’ll meet at the same place (Pike Hall). We are starting out Call of Wild Belt Loop! The kids will learn how to tie an overhand knot and a square knot. If you have some cordage or rope or yarn please bring it. If not, I will have plenty to pass around. Hello BEAR families! The first den update was a mistake so disregard! Tonight we will be working on our Bear Necessities requirement. We will start inside (same place as last week) and move outside so please wear your Class B uniform (that’s the t-shirt) if you have one. We will be putting up tents.
