Happy Saturday! As I sit at the ag barn waiting on my oldest to finish up I’m using this time to prepare for our Monday den meeting. This Monday we will start inside but finish outside. Wear workout clothes and bring water and bug spray. Please look at Page 80 in your webelos book to prepare for the start of our first pin “Stronger, Faster, Hirer”. Howdy Bear Families!! We have at least 4 new families joining the Den4 Family, so as we gather TUESDAY at 6:45pm at WUMC, be sure to reach out, introduce yourselves and make our newest members feel welcome!!! All new scouts will need to earn their BOBCAT AWARD – It’s on page 24 of your Bear book, and I’ll have handouts. Might want to brush up on our Scout Law and Scout Oath, everybody!! The BEAR neckerchief is light blue and we will need those by the October Pack Meeting. Howdy Pack 359, Here is a rundown of upcoming scouting events. Tomorrow is the ALL parent meeting. Please bring a pen, insurance cards, and be ready to fill out paperwork. Kids will have a movie to watch. If you were asked to help out and have a brown shirt please wear it. First official den meetings Monday September 27th at 6:30pm Whitehouse United Methodist (Bears or 3rd grade will meet Tuesday night, see den leader for details). October 23rd-24th is the Council Mom & Me. Please do not register with the council, we will register as a pack. I cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow.
Howdy! In case you missed the message from the Pack earlier this week, it is time for us to pick up flags. If you are NOT able to pick up the same route you delivered, please let me know. Otherwise, I will assume you have it covered. If you were not able to help deliver flags, but can assist during Pick Up, please let me know. Hello to all BEAR Families!! Hopefullly you have gotten “in the groove” of school/work/life craziness and had a great weekend. We are gearing up for a super Scouting year with a Leader’s meeting tonight, recruitment events this week, and DEN Meetings starting back after that – see the schedule of events below!!
