Saturday Meeting

Howdy Den 7, Saturday we will be meeting at 9:30 at Whitehouse City Park. We will be starting an elective, Aware and Care, by playing several games. Please bring the following (some are quite strange): 1. a blindfold for scouts 2. 2 hardboiled eggs with the shells still on 3. Pair of swim goggles if you have them 4. CANNED GOODS! We are collecting food for the Whitehouse Food Pantry, most needed items are Mac and cheese, peanut butter, shelf stable milk, chili, and tuna. 5. COVID Protocol Updates

Good evening Pack 359 Family, In keeping up to date with COVID-19 procedures we are going to be updating our den meeting protocols to help limit exposure risk. We are going to ask a few things of you. 1. For indoor meetings, except Lions, all parents and siblings will need to remain in the car or outside the church for the duration of the meeting unless specifically asked by the den leader or cubmaster to attend the meeting. Tiger parents MUST remain on campus for the duration of the meeting. Entrance for restroom use is permissible. 2. Scouts 10 and over will need to wear face coverings and scouts under 10 are still encouraged to wear a face covering. 3. Please complete the attached screener…

COVID Exposure

Dear Scouting Families, In keeping with our Pack’s and WISD practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all scout families that a parent recently received a positive test for COVID-19. This parent was present at the den meetings on Monday, September 21, 2020. To remain in compliance with HIPPA we will not be divulging any further information regarding the person in order to protect his/her privacy. The person did in fact wear a mask the entire meeting, limiting exposure to individuals, however, out of an abundance of caution we are notifying the dens affected and cancelling all den meetings on Monday, September 28th. While we do not have reason to believe that those who were not in close contact with the infected individual have…

Canned food drive

Hello Arrow of Lights, I hope everyone had a good start to their week today. Just letting you know that this Saturday September 26, at our den meeting we will be collecting canned foods for the Whitehouse food pantry. They helped so many families out this year, we just want to give a little something back as a way to say thanks. After all a Scout is helpful. Have a great week & stay dry. Amanda

Tuesday’s Meeting – 6:30 at WUMC – We are working on Call of the Wild and Paws on the Path

Hey Wild and Wooly Wolves!! Parents – be sure you have registered and filled out your Health forms and Youth Protection Training. We will need all that finished very soon. If you were with us last year as Tigers, see if you can locate your Scout’s first aid kit, whistle, and flash light – “6 Essentials” for Cub Scouts outdoors. For our new scouts, I have “6 Essentials” kits for you. SCOUTS – I handed out “Outdoor Code” sheets – we will be practicing our Outdoor Code principles and knot tying as we prepare for a one-mile hike and our fall family camp out. Wear tennis shoes, not flip-flops or sandals, to our meeting Tuesday evening! Be thinking about some chores you can do around…

First Den Meeting!

Howdy! This is a reminder we have our first den meeting this Sunday at 3:00. If you have a friend that is interested in scouts bring them up. Meet at the back by the picnic tables.
