Happy Sunday Pack 359!! I hope everyone had a fantastic spring break and are settled back into your normal routine. A few things are coming up and I have the details below. Spring Family Campout We will be camping April 29-May 1 at Camp Tyler. Registration will open up this week through April 17th on the pack website. Blue and Gold Our annual Blue and Gold ceremony will be April 23rd at 6:30pm on the WUMC baseball field. We will be providing dinner catered from Brookshire’s Fresh. Food selections will need to be selected by each family on the pack website. This form will be available this week and close on April 10th. This event is going to be ALOT of fun. We will start…

Happy Sunday Scouting Families!! This week will be a lot of fun. We have Den Meetings Monday and on Saturday a lot of us will be at Possum Kingdom to Campout on part of our Spring Break. Some more exciting news is our Pack Committee has selected NASA for our Annual Family July Overnighter Trip! I’m SO EXCITED about this one. 😆 Save the date for July 23rd. Registration will open the first week of April. Right after Spring break we will also open up registration for our Spring Family Campout. More details to come soon. Today is Scout Sunday so let me start with recognizing you parents for the support and commitment you provide to your Scout.   Last Day to sign up for Spring break Campout at Possum Kingdom State Park is Monday. Don’t forget that because this Campout is more then 72 hours EVERYONE going on the Campout must have a current physical (Health Form C) on file with Pack. We will have a pre Campout meeting Thursday at 6:30pm in Sanctuary with a Doctor on-site to complete physicals. We will also let you know what campsite you will be in. This will be less than 10 minutes of information then you will complete physical and be good to go. If you have questions about Campout not answered…

Reminder that all flags need to be picked up and dropped off at the church this weekend. Nicole will stop by the church on Saturday and Sunday to move all flags inside so if she is not there please place them at the storage room exterior door against the building. Scout Sunday is this Sunday. Whitehouse United Methodist Service begins at 9:30am. Wear Class A uniform. Also the District Pinewood Derby is this Sunday in Bullard. We have a few things this week. Spring Break Campout If you are going on the spring break Campout to Possum Kingdom State Park here’s a couple things. First, you must register on the pack website by March 1st. Also we will be having a pre-Campout meeting on March 3rd in the Sanctuary at 6:30pm this will be a 10 minute meeting however, this meeting is extremely important, because not only will we go over the assigned campsites and details of the Campout, but because this Campout is more then two nights each scout and family member attending must have a pre-Campout physical (Health Form C) completed by a doctor. We will have a doctor at this meeting on March 3rd to complete this. If…

2022 District Pinewood Derby District races will be on February 27th in Bullard this year hosted by Pack 366. Races will be held at Bullard Southern Baptist Church in the gymnasium. 716 North Houston St. Races begin at 1pm. They will start with Lions and work there way up by rank. If you are not racing but would like to attend you are welcome to do so. Also there will be a food truck onsite.

Wow!! What an exciting Pinewood Derby today! Give all your kids a high five from me. Pinewood Derby Award show is Monday at 6:30pm 1st and 2nd place in speed and style advance to District so take care of your cars. First off sorry this communication is later then expected. We had to wait on the Basketball Tournament schedule. Registration Registration will be Friday from 6pm-8pm in Pike Hall. Things generally run quicker if parents leave the kids at home for this. Style judging begins at 8pm so try to get to registration earlier rather then later. Race Day  Races will take place den by den in Friendship Hall as follows: 8:00am- Bears 8:45am – Lions 9:30am- Wolves 10:15am – Tigers 11:00am – Webelos 11:45am – AOL Open immediately after AOL All races will be live streamed via Facebook as well.
