AOL Family I have found a signup for WEBLOS camp! The council is holding this camp during winter camp. (Dec 28- Dec 30) This is where the scouts learn the patrol method and other skills. Please sign up! The kids will have a blast! This is a camp where a hand full of parents go to supervise. We do not need all parents to go. This will get them prepared for summer camp. WOW – Wolf Den 4 were campfire skit SUPERstars at family camp! Great work to all of you for practicing hard and performing our skits for parents as well as the campfire program. Why meet this week? Normally, we don’t meet the week following a camping event, but we only have a very few meeting days between now and Christmas break!! There are NO meetings next week due to Thanksgiving break, and we have a Pack Meeting coming up on Monday, November 30th, so we won’t meet on December 1st since it’s a Pack Meeting week AND we have the Whitehouse Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5th. That leaves December 8th for an official meeting and December 15th for our Christmas service project delivery to…
I have been in contact with one of the leaders of a girls troop in Tyler. At this time we only have 2 girls troops in Tyler and only 1 is meeting. The troop at Pollard Methodists meets on Tuesdays at 7. They have invited the girls form our den to attend the meeting this week. Please let me know if you will be attending. Somer will attend also. Hey there campers! If you have not turned in your Health Form or YPT, you MUST have this to enter camp! Couple of items to remember: BUDDY SYSTEM – Never let scouts (or Adults) wander off by themselves! Camp Pirtle is a very large reservation. We do not want any missing campers. Parents, please stay within eye-shot of your campers. Check-in & Checkout – Steve Swindell will be at a table set up right by the parking lot where parents need to sign in and sign out. At Pirtle, I confirmed that the Pack will be providing Breakfast and Dinner on SATURDAY only. DEN 4 Wolves are doing lunch together – Tamez, Hill, and Lupton families are bringing the grill and hot dogs/buns/ketchup,mustard,relish. We need everyone else attending to bring a bag of Chips and a package of cookies. Also could use dip, veggies, cookies, maybe cheese for the hot dogs. Howdy, I’m looking forward to a weekend of camping. We will be working on two elective belt loops and having fun. Den lunch: Bring meat for your family to eat (we have a griddle to cook on) and a side to share. Looks like we have about 15 from our den (cubs and siblings) Electives: bring fishing gear. We will be working the fishing belt loop (adults will need a fishing license, if they fish). Schedule: We will meet after breakfast and go over the fishing requirements. Then head to the dock. AOL Family This last Saturday we worked on a couple of things with with Building A Better World and Outdoor Adventurer. We are going to be hosting the camp fire this weekend at our last Family Camp as Cub Scouts. I am asking each scout to come up with 1 skit and 1 song. We will go over them Saturday at camp to put the program together (we will not be performing all skits/songs but will choose what fits in the program together). As a family each scout is needing to Duty to God in Action. I would like this to be completed by the end of December. I have attached the info for this requirement. Howdy, You should have all received the email about flag delivery this Sunday and Fall Family Camp registration. As part of our requirement our den will be placing the flags at the retirement home. I have also requested a neighborhood. We will meet at the church at 2:30 to review how to do flag placement and then drive to location. You must be in your field uniform (blue button down).
