Dear Scouting Families, In keeping with our Pack’s and WISD practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all scout families that a parent recently received a positive test for COVID-19. This parent was present at the den meetings on Monday, September 21, 2020. To remain in compliance with HIPPA we will not be divulging any further information regarding the person in order to protect his/her privacy. The person did in fact wear a mask the entire meeting, limiting exposure to individuals, however, out of an abundance of caution we are notifying the dens affected and cancelling all den meetings on Monday, September 28th. Hello Arrow of Lights, I hope everyone had a good start to their week today. Just letting you know that this Saturday September 26, at our den meeting we will be collecting canned foods for the Whitehouse food pantry. They helped so many families out this year, we just want to give a little something back as a way to say thanks. After all a Scout is helpful. Have a great week & stay dry. Amanda

Hey Wild and Wooly Wolves!! Parents – be sure you have registered and filled out your Health forms and Youth Protection Training. We will need all that finished very soon. If you were with us last year as Tigers, see if you can locate your Scout’s first aid kit, whistle, and flash light – “6 Essentials” for Cub Scouts outdoors. For our new scouts, I have “6 Essentials” kits for you. SCOUTS – I handed out “Outdoor Code” sheets – we will be practicing our Outdoor Code principles and knot tying as we prepare for a one-mile hike and our fall family camp out. Good Morning Webelos Den 2! Tonight we will be kicking off the Scouting Year with our first den meeting! We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall (Back of the church) at 6:30 PM tonight. Howdy Bears, Welcome to the start of the 2020-2021 Bear year. I am super excited about all the adventures we will be going on. This year does look a little different because of COVID-19. I need your response to this email. In order to keep social distancing dens are not all meeting on Monday nights at the church. I was reviewing our requirements and electives and was looking to meet twice a month at my house or a specified location. If your family is social distancing I will send you the requirements for you to do at home. We will still have pack meeting at the church once a month (see pack calendar) but will social distance.
