No Den Meeting Tonight

Hey Tigers! Don’t forget; we will NOT meet tonight. Please use this time to finish up your Duty to God or attend a sporting event. There is a Track Meet at the stadium tonight, and baseball/softball is in full swing all across East Texas. NEXT WEEK – Next week is our final meeting before Blue & Gold. Feel free to bring your healthy snack if you need to. We are also going to practice our flag ceremony! Spring Family Camp Cancelled, upcoming Spring Council events

Due to scheduling conflicts our Spring Family Camp has been cancelled. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities for fun. The East Texas Area Council is hosting TWO fun-filled events in the month of April!   The FIRST event, Spring Cub Camping Event – Third Rock from the Sun, is a family focused event open to Cub Scouts and their parents/guardians. You and your Scout will get to participate in outdoor activities such as Shooting Sports, Climbing Wall, Cooking, Crafts, Fishing, Bounce House, Games, and a Scavenger Hunt! Third Rock from the Sun will take place at George W. Pirtle Scout Reservation, Saturday, April 22nd at 8:00 AM until Sunday, April 23rd at 10:00AM. The cost is $45 per Cub Scout and $40 per Adult. These prices will increase by $5…

Tomorrow, April 3rd, we will be having a make-up meeting! If you are missing requirements and need help please come tomorrow so we can finish those up! If you have completed any new requirements and or electives, please let us know asap so we can get scoutbook updated and everyone can receive awards for Blue and Gold! Next Monday, April 10th, we will be putting together our board for Blue and Gold. If you have any pictures from any scouting activities please print them and bring them to this meeting! Blue & Gold Banquet and Arrow of Light Crossover

It’s that time of year again, Blue & Gold is just around the corner!   The Blue & Gold Banquet is a time for families to come together to celebrate our Cub Scouts and their achievements this year. We will present the Scouts with their belt loops and rank badges, along with any other awards. We also thank our Pack leaders and other volunteers who run the Pack and help organize our events for the year.   This year, we will also have the privilege of hosting the Arrow of Light Crossover Ceremony. We are starting our run on available Electives – please take a look at the Webelos Achievement requirements and insure your Scout has fulfilled those! Tonight!!

Tonight we will be finishing several requirements and our Forensics elective! We will be meeting outside under the pavilion at 6:30. Mrs. Gigi is SICK :( NO Meeting tonight for Webelos!

Hi team! The pollen and weird weather have conspired against me – I tried to sleep it off last night but am still struggling with clogged head, scratchy throat, cough and fever this afternoon, so I am electing NOT to share my germs with everyone – NO MEETING TONIGHT!!    I have some great projects lined up for our Electives including creating yard stepping stones, a tour of the geology lab at TJC, and learning how to yo-yo – all of which require me to be up close and personal with all your scouts – so take a family night to just recover from the back-to-school grind, and get ready for some fun activities for this spring.  I am starting to get my grandkid’s baseball…
