Howdy Pack 359, I cannot wait to get back to scouting! Here are the events coming up soon. This week: Monday: flag pick up, routes should have been assigned by your den leader.  The church will be open tomorrow at 6:30PM for you to put flags away. Thursday: Ice Cream Social Whitehouse City Park, 6PM bring a friend! Saturday: recruitment and flag sale table at the Whitehouse farmers market 8:30 AM to noon. Next week:  ALL parent meeting at the church at 6:30 PM.  This is for new and returning parents.  A movie will be set up for any kiddos that need to tag along. See you all Thursday! Happy Wednesday Pack! I hope everyone survived the CRAZY morning! First Day of School, Rain, Traffic, and Flooded Roads, OH MY! I can promise you we are thinking of all our Cubs, Teachers, and Parents. We cannot wait to hear about all the fun Cubs had this week when we meet Monday. This coming Monday (Aug 23rd), we are hosting the CUB SCOUT OLYMPICS! The first event will start at 6:30 PM at the Church. Good Evening Pack! This Friday evening, we are going to throw a Welcome Back Water Day at the Whitehouse City Park. We’re going to build Raingutter Regatta boats, race them, and then enjoy a couple of hours at the Splash Pad!! This event is open to any family and friends who may be interested in joining the Cub Scouts. What to wear and bring: • Wear your swimsuits • Phillips head screwdriver (it has the plus sign on the end) • Bug spray (its that time of year) • Towels (if you are doing the splash pad) • Drinking water and food (the concession stand will be CLOSED at the splash pad) We will begin building our boats at 5 PM on Friday evening, followed…

We’ve seen so many pictures of us all reuniting with friends, enjoying family vacations, and participating in the summertime Pack activities.  BUT – WE MISS YOU!! Good Afternoon Pack 359! The District will be hosting an event for all scouts in the Wo-Ha-Li district this Saturday, July 31st, 2021. BRING A BUDDY SCOUTING EVENT – JULY 31,2021 at the AMERICAN LEGION PARK, LINDALE, TEXAS (18251 County Rd 498, Lindale, TX 75771) Check-in will begin at 9:00 am Activities from 9:30-2 pm FISHING Catch um, Clean um, Cook um And Eat um BB Guns Archery Test your skill with a BB gun or a Bow and Arrow Bring your own fishing tackle, bait, and lunch This event welcomes scouts and their friends of all ages (from 6-17), unit leaders, and Parents. Pack 359, I am so sorry to inform you that the VFW event has been canceled for the scouts.  They have decided that they do not want to use the scouts. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Hello, There was a mistake on the date, the VFW flag retirement is Sunday, July 4th from 2-4.  If you can attend please attend Sunday NOT Monday.  

Howdy Pack 359, I hope everyone is enjoying their 4th of July weekend.  The VFW post 1799 in Whitehouse is holding a flag retirement ceremony on Monday from 2-4 and they have requested some scouts to attend.  There will be refreshments and most likely the news out there.  If you are able please be at the VFW post by Brown elementary at 1:45 in Field uniform (class A). Flags need to also be picked up this week using the same den assignments as last time.  Den leaders please coordinate flag pick up between Wednesday and Sunday of this week.  All flags need to be picked up by Sunday, July 11th please.  Here is the new link for routeshttps://etacpack359.org/routes/

Good Morning Pack! We have two upcoming events in July. July 10th and 11th: Overnight Lock-in at the Fort Worth Zoo! The Pack will pay for each scout and one adult partner (Hooray Flags!). Additional tickets can be purchased for $50 instead of the regular priced $75. (Thank you Flags!).
