Howdy, Pack 359 Family!!!! You thought we forgot about you, but you were wrong.  I hope everyone’s summer is going well. Here’s the rest of the summer schedule… Saturday, July 14 – movie at the Whitehouse Park.  Come out to enjoy a movie and snacks.  We’ll provide the movie, popcorn, and FUN!    Bring chairs and drinks!!!!  Sno-cones for purchase.  I’ll send out details regarding times later. Spend the Night at the Zoo!!!  Friday, August 3rd or 10th!!!!   You must signup online at etacpack359.org/zoo.  This is 1st come, 1st serve!!  This event is NOT paid for by the pack. Cost is $25/person.  Families are invited but the zoo asks that you are 6 or over.  Feed the giraffes, explore the zoo at night, etc!!!! …

Hello, Pack 359 Family! I hope everyone has had a great holiday weekend.   This is your last chance to sign up for Day Camp through us.  I need you to go to etacpack359.org/daycamp to register and pay by Wednesday.  If you do not do this through us by then, you will have to go through the Council Office, and will miss the discounted price of $50 instead of $75.  Plus, you'll have to pay late registration fees. Hello, Pack 359 Family! We have a couple of big events this weekend, and we need some help! First – Holiday Flag Service Delivery Tonight (Pending Rain) We are meeting at the Church at 6 pm to deliver our flags. We have 40! WooHoo! This will not take long at all, as long as we have a few groups of scouts. Trucks are needed 🙂 Second – Freedom in the Park on Saturday Tomorrow afternoon is Freedom In The Park. The Flag Retirement Ceremony is at 4:30. This is a really really cool experience for the Scouts. Hello, Pack 359 Family!! Well, Spring Family camp was HOT and FUN!!  What a way to end our awesome year of Scouting.  There will be no further Den meetings until school resumes in the fall. That being said, we still have activities for you during the Summer. 1.  Freedom in the Park – this Saturday, May 26, starting at 2 pm in the Whitehouse Park.  We will have an archery and information booth set up.  Please be on the lookout for a sign up email to help man the booth. Hello, Pack 359 Family!!   Spring Family Camp is upon us!!!   LET YOUR DEN LEADER KNOW HOW MANY OF YOUR FAMILY PLANS TO ATTEND! * Campout date is Friday, May 18th through Sunday, May 20th at Pirkey Environmental Park near Hallsville, TX (directions attached). If you can't make it Friday, come Saturday!!!  If you can't camp at all, come out Saturday for the day and campfire.  * The Pack will provide meals for Saturday morning and evening.  Parents/Dens will be responsible for Friday night, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast. For Friday, most families will stop and eat on the way to camp. For Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast, it can be as simple as a sandwich or a meal prepared and shared with your Den (please check with your Den Leader).  Most Dens plan to eat breakfast and lunch as a den.        …
