Den Meetings for Monday, November 5

Hello, Pack 359 Family! Well, we survived the storms, and had a great time at Fall Family Camp.  A little rain water never hurt anybody!! The only Den meeting on Monday at 6:30 pm is the AOL Den.  They will meet in Pike Hall.  Everyone else, please recover from the weekend. On another note……Veterans' Day School Programs are this week.  We need all available Scouts to participate.  If your Scout wants to participate in the Flag Ceremony and handing out retired stars to veterans, he must be in Field (Class A) Uniform.   Here's a list of the Programs: 1.  Higgins – rehearsal Wednesday, November 7 at 1:30 pm at the school (uniform not required).  Program is Thursday, November 8 at 6 PM at Higgins.  Uniform…

Bear Carnival & Pack Meeting, Monday, Oct 29 @ 6pm

Howdy, Pack 359 Family! Here is the list of things you need to know for tomorrow and Family Camp next weekend. And, other things as well. 1.  Bear Carnival – starts at 6 pm Monday in the Fellowship Hall.  Please try to make it on time as we will be starting our October Pack Meeting at 6:45pm. 2. Pack Meeting – immediately following the Bear Carnival in the church sanctuary.  Uniform for all PACK meetings is always Field (Class A).  Parents, please remind your Scouts that no candy will be eaten in the sanctuary.  Also, no HATS please. 3.  Popcorn Forms – due tomorrow after the Pack meeting.  So, if you have take order forms filled out, please bring them with the money collected. 4.  Fall Family Camp – this Friday, November…

Howdy, Pack 359! I hope everyone is enjoying some fun in the sun today! Rose Parade Reminder!

Happy Friday to you all! Just a friendly reminder that the Tyler Rose Parade is tomorrow, Saturday, Oct 20.  Please see previous email regarding details of location, times, etc. You will need to check your Scout in with either Josh Jones or Joanne Murski.  We need Webelos and AOL Scouts there to help carry flags. Uniform is Field (Class A).  Please check the weather for temperatures/rain. They will only cancel the parade for lightning. Lions and Tigers must ride on the trailer, and Lion/Tiger parents must walk alongside.    Please bring old blankets to sit on. See you bright and early early tomorrow AM! Yours in Scouting, D. Rose Parade and Popcorn!

Dear Pack 359 Family, 1. Tyler Rose Parade – this Saturday, October 20.  Here are the details on the parade. We will be #3 in the lineup behind the City of Tyler Fire Truck. The parade route is about 1.25 miles.  Gathering:  We will gather at the intersection of Glenwood and Houston Streets at between 7:30 and 8:00am. A few minutes after 8:00am, we will move down to our staging area at Glenwood and Front Street.  Please be early!  Parade security may keep latecomers from entering the route.  Parade starts at 9:00am.  Josh Jones and Joanne Murski will be in charge of sign in and sign out of Scouts. Parking:  The best locations to park are Mike Carter Baseball Field or Peete Elementary School.  Keep in mind that many of…
