Hello WEBELOS Scouts! We are going to be working hard to earn required Achievement pins so we can receive our WEBELOS “colors” at the first Pack Meeting! Tonight – dress in Class B (T-shirt & Shorts) as we begin our “Stronger, Faster, Higher” Adventure. We will be outside, so your Scout might want to bring a towel to sit on for stretches.  I will need a few parents with phones to help record starting times for each Scout’s Fitness Chart baseline numbers. Morning AOL Parents, It was great getting back into meetings and seeing all of you last night. As I mentioned our schedule is fluid and can change throughout the year. I am working hard to keep ya’ll up to date on changes. We have our FIRST schedule change. The meeting with Whitehouse Mayor has been scheduled for November 28. This made me change a few activities in order for the group to prepare for the visit (they have to be ready with questions for the mayor and watch the local news). Next week we start Scouting Adventure Requirement 3 (pg 174) and review of Bobcat for our new scout. See attached for update year schedule. KP PS: Winter/Spring: There are still areas I need help….

Hello Den 4 Families! We had a good meeting to get the year started.  The Scouts should be asking to use the internet to figure out what is in the “poppers” or “snaps” they enjoyed last night that makes them “pop” upon impact…pretty sure it’s not “gunpowder” which was the scout’s primary answer before doing their research. It should be interesting to see what they discover. We missed several Scouts, but as I discussed, our scouts have time to finish Webelos and Arrow of Light ranks while working around football, baseball, karate, golf, robotics – These young men and women are going to do amazing things in their future and scouting can be a part of that journey.  This is one of the reasons we…

Heyyyyy there Wild Webelos – I am SO excited about this year’s activities and can’t wait to see everyone Monday, September 26th, at 6:30 in our usual place in the back of the WUMC.  Meetings this year will take place on Mondays and some Sunday afternoons at WUMC for longer projects that might take a bit more time to complete.  We have some AWESOME activities coming up this year!!! ** IMPORTANT**  Everyone PLEASE pick up your flags – if you had some that needed to be installed Tracy and I went and put them out for the holiday but most still need the PVC set into the ground – don’t miss those on your pick up rounds!!  Thank you for working together as a team…

WEBELOS stands for We’ll Be Loyal Scouts and I want to thank all the flag families who have been so loyal to the flag program and already have flags out for Labor Day. If you have been totally wiped out by the “start of school” craziness of the last couple of weeks, PLEASE get your Flags out ASAP – this weekend is the holiday weekend!!! Howdy, Looks like the rain has letup and we will have time this Friday and Saturday for flag placement. After you read my email please read the pack communication about water slides Saturday. Route Assignments Prince – B2 Swindell – B1 McCrary – B3 EVERYONE else: Saturday wear you class A uniform and meet at 9:00 at Prestige on Paluxy. Got ahead of myself – Bike rodeo is next weekend!! Also good time to mention that our Flags stay out for June Flag Day and July 4th, so no flag pickup in June – however there will be a flag BUILDING day coming up as we have over 20 new customers, so watch for a message from Cubmaster Cody! Don’t forget the SCOUT BICYCLE RODEO – NEXT SATURDAY, JUNE 11th!!  Bring your bikes and meet up at the Green Acres Parking Garage 8am-12pm. This event is going to be a lot of fun.
