Monday!! The long day after Halloween we will have a den meeting. We will be working on first aid. Each scout needs to bring their own first aid kit. They need to be able to tell me why they picked what they did. I will need parent help with our activities of learning how to help with: nose bleed, sunburn, etc (list is in the book). Also don’t forget to exercise and document and memorize home address!! Yours in Scouting, Kathy
Good Morning Arrows! Our Den is responsible for the Opening and Closing Flag Ceremonies at tonight’s Pack Meeting. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall this year. If possible, please try and be there by 6:15 so that we can do a quick rehersal. Thanks! Jason
Howdy Webelos! What a fun weekend a lot of us had. I had so much fun I almost forgot tonight is PACK meeting. This means we will meet with all the other dens and celebrate the past month. We have 3 parts that our den will be a part of during the pack meeting. Skit – Gavin will do his Run Away Piggy Bank (with lots of coins) Song – We will lead the repeat after me song from mom & me – “I’m singing in the Rain” Bobcat – Our new scouts Jonathan, Logan and Madison will be earning their Bobcat rank. Please bring your parent with you tonight to help with the Bobcat ceremony. The bear’s will host a Bear Carnival at the…
Happy Afternoon, BEAR Families!! I am SO excited about our new BEARS earning their BOBCAT Award at 6:30 pm tomorrow night! A few of you were still working on some of the BOBCAT details, so really practice, practice, practice so you can earn your award tomorrow night!!! (I’m putting the requirements at the end of this message as a refresher for everyone!) Remember to wear your UNIFORM – or as much of it as you have, please. BEAR CARNIVAL – remember this will earn our Scouts an achievement!! There has been a location “shift” – WUMC has some events going on at the church tomorrow night as well, so the Pack Meeting is being held in the fellowship hall and our BEAR CARNIVAL is being…
HI DEN 4!! See you tonight at 6:30 – meeting will be short and sweet – getting ready for BEAR Carnival & BOBCAT Rank tests. Was that a great Rose Parade or what? Den 4 Scouts and Parents were SUPERSTARS as always, lending a hand where needed and WHAT a great job carrying those flags and banners!!!! Round of Applause!!! NOW, you busy BEAR families – let’s think about BEAR CARNIVAL. This will complete the “Grin & Bear it” Achievement for each participating Scout once we do the “reflection” so it’s important that your Scout plans their “game” AND what they are going to say to get people to come play that game – think of carnival vendors calling-“Hey, come on over, you can’t lose”…
Parents, There is a bit more paperwork this year! This is coming directly from the camp director. Attached is a schedule for the time you will be with us. We need you to take care of a couple of things this week to make check in go smooth. At this activity all adults attending must be Youth Protections Trained. To do this you must sign on to scouting.org to complete the YPT training and then bring a copy of the certificate with you to check in to turn in. You must also bring a copy of your medical form parts A & B. With this form you must include a copy of your Insurance Card front and back as well as a copy of the insureds Drivers License. You must…
